Nice attitude. Oh of course you would have won if you had come over Val. There is no better Zed in the land, its a true work of art - we should all be humbled and bow down in admiration. There was however a gate to the entrance which was only about 7ft wide, so may have been a bit of a squeeze getting your head into the grounds. Some of us have lives outside our Z, and dont live for winning trophies or bragging that our car got further in the show and shine than our arch rivals. It was just nice to see some shiny Z's on the day and show that myself and Jonathn were quite chuffed with our awards. A first response of (and im paraphrasing here) - "The turnout must have been poor if those @*!# Z's won" is a bit off. Would you like a new bunch of grapes, it appears the current ones you have may be slightly soured.

Hi - thats brilliant news!! congratulations!!! To get Rays, there are a couple of methods... Firstly, post up a wanted add on the site - there are always owners changing their wheels that may have a set they would be willing to sell. Also, keep an eye on ebay - thats where I got a set from for the last car. They have gone for up to very near the £1k price in the past, but should now be considerably lower. They wont fit in a Z if you go to pick them up though, so you'll need another vehicle to transport them in. There is a meet in the Lake district on Sunday next weekend, you could even come along and show your new car off and meet some of us! You're going to ache from the smiles after picking her up and getting through your first tank on Saturday

Hi, I think what Val is referring to is that prior to the creation of this forum, there was an owner on the previous community site that had the unichip fitted by Dastek in 2004 and had a whole host of issues afterward. This is before my time of 350Z ownership so Im not aware of the full details, and was obviously in the infancy of 350Z tuning in the UK in 2004.

I think the cagefighting contacts available on this forum would be able to rustle up some folk that would be able to have a rather pursuasive visit to the addresses of these idiots if the need ever arose..

To be honest with the amount of CATS, exhausts and intakes available for the Z, there are a whole raft of different noises that they give out. Not necessarily anything major changed under the bonnet.

See Paul, you know now why Jonathan has never seen the inside of my garage when he has been round - the shame of the single bucket and yellow bath sponge would be all too much I fear. Anyway - yours did look good at the show Jonathan. I reckon it was the sun (or lack of) that let the yellow down. Did you see the owner of the beast, with the portable polisher and buffer!
