  1. Hi! Great to meet lots of new faces - and thanks for sorting the room for the night Martin Also had the pleasure of the M6 car park too! Now where did I put the T-cut??
  2. Ive just read the statement in full as linked to. It appears as though there were a number of people involved, and it would appear Alonso was right there among it. He knew full well wht he was doing was wrong, and the discussion of Ferrari technical details over email by a Mclaren driver is almost certainly worthy of a penalty. I wouldn't be putting my money on Alonso being behind the wheel of a Mclaren in 2008, and I also wouldnt be surprised if there were any "hickups" in the pit stops between now and the end of the season for Alonso, leaving the championship open for Hamilton.
  3. Got a 5p off voucher with the shopping last night too, so will be putting that to good use like others! See you there on Sat afternoon/evening!
  4. You can actually replace the blank area behind the driver with another storage cubby if you want. It will involve the removal of the speaker mounting bracket that is behind the panel though, only about a DOZEN little bolts holding the thing in!

  6. The hotel swat team came in to take it away - armed with hi tech pest control and protection equipment. 1 x Rake 1 x Bucket 1 x pair of marigolds 2 x worried looks. I get the feeling it was poisonous by the way they didnt fancy getting near it, which probably made my drunken actions of getting a photo a little daft.
  7. I hope some may find these funny.. sheff u http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg5HsG7AN1Y xBox http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYvZnTFpip0 Car stolen:
  8. Sorry - had other things to attend to It was in Cozumel. It was at the computer that I was using at the time to keep up to date with the forum. I hadn't actualy noticed it was there until Tracy came down to let me know we had a meal booked, so I should be making a move. She just froze and advised that I may want to walk away from the PC before turning round. Of course - that was the worst thing she could do, I just said "what" and turned round. I almost ran through the desk, taking PC and all with me. After recovering, I said I had to get a photo, and that was as close as I dared get whilst screaming blue murder at Tracy to get the photo before I did something involuntary, and rather messy. It must have been the Coronas I had been drinking, as I wouldnt do it now!
  9. The pickle was doubtless the hottest thing about the hatchback they were sat in too.
  10. Thread locked pending discussion of PM request within the team.
  11. Oops edited my post as you were posting - re-edited to explain the request for the stickers.
  12. And what exactly would the other side of the story have been?? That you were upset the team didnt want to implement your idea of hierachy and specific roles, so left in a sulk and decided to redirect the urls out of spite? Unless of course there is another explanation. Just need to find the stickers now too.
  13. Ill post these seeing as you haven't: :rant:**&&!!$*** Absolute mindless idiots. They would find them in the park behind our house doubling as a bike rack!! As for the badge, there may be some that have debadged that have no use for theirs anymore? Either that or ebay? Gutted for you - absolute idiots.
  14. Seeing as the administration contact for 370z-uk.com is listed as xxxxxxxx@350z-uk.com it does appear strange.
  15. All the domains previously have been purchased by individuals and then pointed to this site - i.e. 350z-uk.co.uk The details on how to access these domains and point them to the site is made public knowledge to the team members - therefore the team/club is in control of the domains. In this instance the domains were purchased after this discussion and directed to this site. For some reason they are now not directing to this site, and instead to the 350z-tech site and control was never given to the club.
  16. This does need answering. From the thread discussing this in the admin area, these domains were purchased for and on behalf of the club. Either they were for this club or they were not. Why has the redirection now been changed away from this site?
  17. What are these Paul? (I know they are disc brakes before any smart answers come in!)
  18. Oops - voted PC before I read the budget. Sat nav for the budget, but removing the budget restraints, PC every time for me - but it takes some skill and effort to put a good working PC in a car - shoving a tomtom into the cubby is about the limit for now.
  19. We have a large number of owners on here, and instances of theft being reported are quite rare indeed, in fact I cant remember the last one. Instances of malicious vandalism however have been known. There have been a few (although still fairly rare thankfully) reports of cars being keyed by scum of the earth. Unfortunately todays society seems to have bred a generation that contains more than the normal level of mindless idiots that would rather vandalise a nice car than save up and buy one of their own. There has to be a dollop of common sense used when owning a Z, just like any other nice looking sports car, regardless of the badge addorning its bonnet. Busy car parks, superkarkets, town centres full of drunken kids, known dodgy/rough areas etc. Park a Z in any of those for a while or overnight and you may be increasing your chances of high blood pressure when you return to it.
  20. Its certainly a milestone - there are certainly more active members month on month. The webstats and bandwidth usage figures would also confirm that. Looking in the members list there are a significant number (730+) that have made at least 2 posts (i.e. they are not single "for sale" or spam posts) If we consider regular posters to be folk with over 50 posts then there are almost 200 that fit the bill. Im sure if we continue the way we are, then the numbers will just keep on growing. Its due to the continued support of all the members on the site that the community keeps on growing each day. Id like to thank each and every one for making this so much fun. It has made, and continues to make every day of Z ownersihp just that much better!
  21. The first one we got was 6 months old, blue roadster. Still remember the grin I had on my face when we picked it up. Look forward to seeing you behind the wheel of a Z in the near future!
  22. Mrs Chesterfield keeps looking at the property pages and pointing out houses, just after we have finished the work on this one and can enjoy it. So Ive started pointing out new cars just after Ive bought all the bodykit bits for this one. The irony doesnt seem to sit well Hows the car number crunching going?
