  1. If you follow this guide that shows how to put pictures in a signature, it should help explain how to get pictures onto the forum. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7695 Yes unfortunately there is a standard 2mb limit for attaching items within posts, this helps conserve the bandwith used by the site. If you use photoucket or similar then you use their bandwidth and not ours.
  2. The MX-5 we had before the Z was a great deal of fun. As you say, the power could do with being just that bit more in order to make it even better. Tracy still misses hers, once we move home to something with a couple more garages, I think Ill see if I can treat her to one again.
  3. A brief search (which I guess you have already done) came up with this: http://www.m-science.com/ Not something we currently use at our company, so cant really offer any advice or input other than the results of my searches.
  4. Yes there are some very quick modified hot hatches around, a calibra turbo engine in a Nova will be very quick. Still a Nova though. You cant polish a turd.
  5. Posts above split off from Andy C's topic.
  6. Ive noticed recently that various things on my dads pc stopped working, for some reason the secutity settings of internet explorer had increased. Im guessing a recent update from MS did it. May be worth checking your internet explorer security settings to see if they have increased and could be preventing the cookies and login scripts from doing their job.
  7. The Nismo on a Roadster looks very nice. Nick had the speedracing kit on his roadster. Having owned a roadster, I think the hardest thing to get past is the size of the things backside. I personally think a rear spoiler seems to make a difference as it stretches the boot verticaly.
  8. simply do the following - replacing { & } with [ & ] {url=http://www.your.link.here}Text to click{/url} Ill edit your post to include a clickable link, you can then click edit to see what Ive added...
  9. Ahh righ you are. Thanks for the offer Mike, but I reckon Ill be busy with attending the Z club and the grand prix afternoon on the Sunday.
  10. I dont know if Ill have time, lots on next weekend and also the Z club meet, so possibly wont have time for the renault racing too.
  11. Just to note, this clashes with the Z club birthday party, and its a grand prix weekend. Ive just requested some tickets (obviously not arrived yet), but dont know if Ill be using them, maybe one day at the Zclub, one day at this event and the grand prix on record. Hmm decisions, decisions.
  12. Like this I believe - standard OEM style, but made of CF.
  13. Vauxhall Astra 1.2 merit in A lovely turquoise colour
  14. Val, Not the Z emblems I was thinking of, so not for me sorry.
  15. Hi! & welcome ! Nice choice of colour - the best I reckon. Though of course Im not biassed in any way These Yellow GT4s are starting to get a bit common round these parts! This will be the 4th I know of in the Chesterfield area. Clearly a town with good taste. There are a few points that certainly need raising about this car. Firstly why has it been sat on the shelf for getting on two and half years? I would hope that the price is CONSIDERABLY lower than any other new 350z, as has been said, there have been two further revisions of the Z since the GT4, although the GT4 does have the main component of the first change in 06, which is the engine. In the future if you wish to sell, buyers may well want to know why this GT4 was left on the shelf for 2.5 years before being registered, so Id make sure you are 100% happy with the story you get from them on this point, and it would certainly be a story that many of us would like to hear Im sure. Will the dealer/Nissan confirm that you will still have a full 3 year warranty from the time of purchase? I could see things being complicated if/when the dealer puts in a warranty claim to Nissan for a GT4 in 2010 for example. Another minor issue - the original GT4's when new came with a Sony Playstation 2 and a copy of the GT4 game. As this is effectively a new car, then you want all the trimmings that came ith a new car - Im guessing in the 2.5 years this has been hanging around, the Playstation may have made its way from the boot and into some dealers kids bedroom - if thats the case then Id be asking them to get down to gamestation and pick one up - it should be in with the new car after all. Other than the price, history/story then its still a cracking buy, and a great car. Im sure you will be more than happy with it, though can we agree to park at opposite ends of the line to each other at any meets around Chesterfield? - we dont want people thinking they are common Dont forget, this GT4 will fall into the new (thanks Gordon) road tax braket, which will be £400 next year, and £300 this year. Most other GT4's, due to their registration date, are in the lower bracket (although they have the same engine). Possibly another haggling point with the dealer, get them to chuck in the difference perhaps?
  16. I know what you mean, but its a question of convenience, they seem to have built a fairly good business on the basis that people will pay a small percentage for a quick simple solution. Good luck with the sale though either way. I thought you would be keeping the APS oil pan due to your project, though I seem to remember you already have one fitted. When you have reposted the items can you update the list above or let me know what Z emblems/badges you have as I may be able to find a use for the Z ones
  17. Tipping it on its head, cant you list with the charges included and make a statement that says - if you pay by cash on collection then you get a 3% discount. That way you are offering buyers a bonus, and NOT circumventing paypal charges. Play them their own game.
  18. Ahhh.... $1 MicheloB and foot long hot dogs in Vegas.... Wish I was coming with you!
  19. Tim Im really sorry to hear the news. You know Im just round the corner if you just want a pint, chat, shoulder to lean on or ear to bend. You have been there for me in the past when Ive needed a listener, and you know where myself and Tracy are at any time day or night. Our sympathies are with yourself, Christine and family.
  20. My dad is quite good friends with Dave Berry (60s artist, recorded the crying game). So through that have met a few other 60s artists, no A list celebs though.
  21. Added the item descriptions to the post Val, may help with multiple items listed.

  23. Myself and Tracy went the other way, from roadster to coupe - my summing up of the roadster/coupe comparison is here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 99&start=7 Hope it helps
