  1. Flattery will get you everywhere.
  2. I wasnt on last night after about 9, so cant comment on any time after that, but before that time I hadnt noticed it behaving badly.
  3. Knowing it was good enough for Nissan engineers would certainly be a positive for a person such as myself with novice FI knowledge at best.
  4. Lets hope so. Its certainly a "different" business strategy to develop after sales service and support after you have started selling the product. Consumers of most products or services will normally look to ensure support is present before parting with wads of cash. It would certainly be one of if not THE most important aspect I would be looking for if I ever considered going FI. Hopefully the relationship being built with Middlehurst will prove to be just the sort of support solution that aides the products sales within the UK.
  5. Its coming There are quite a number of things that we need to get sorted Part of the reason for new team members is to allow for the backlog of "to do" items to be reduced.
  6. This should be fixed now Sorry for the delay
  7. I believe 3G and or vodafone already offer broadband speed connections to mobile devices. 3g/vodafone Mobile PC card connected to the carputer would offer broadband to the in car setup, if this connction were shared via an addition of an rj45 connection to the carputer, you could in theory connect the xbox to the net and enjoy online gaming via the mobile connection, though how good this would be for bandwidth intensive games (only 256k upload I think on mobile broadband) I dont know - for simpler stuff it should in theory work. But to purchase the kit and use it online for long periods of time, you'll need deep pockets. And it will still only work when you have decent coverage from the chosen network.
  8. Id stick with a ps2/3 or xbox 360 and use a standard controller. Much less possibility of damage or misconstrued gestures
  9. Im in! Beavis Digsy Lomoto Jacko M13KYF Jonathan73? Chesterfield
  10. Hmmm yes - back to square one. The mind boggles. What a surprise the government introducing this little change to clobber even more out of folk.
  11. Sorry folks, I thought this had been sorted - Ill try and adjust them this afternoon.
  12. Cant you trade yours in? I know some companies will take an existing house in part payment. Im fairly sure a solicitor will be able to draw up a similar agreement for an individual selling/buying a property. Im not certain if that classes as a sale and is then subject to the same fees however. There may be another very long winded and convoluted way round the process that would avoid the tax I reckon. You can place a property in trust to an individual that would decree that if you live for another 7 years then the property becomes theirs, this is how many houses avoid inheritance tax and Im sure could be used to avoid stamp duty too - but obviously requires a fair ammount of trust on the "buyers" side, and a solicitor may be able to sort a contract to ensure it works. Where there is a will there is a way.
  13. They are there for me too. Should be there for everyone as its not an option that can be set by profile. As they are on the bottom right, on topics that have been stretched by wide pictures or wide quotes, they may be off the screen to the right...
  14. Ill come along to Buxton, I dont "think" we have anything booked for a while at weekends, but I will have to double check any dates with the gaffer.
  15. You cant link directly to forza images, they have to be copied to photobucket or similar first
  16. Thats the clicky axles. Mine does it too, I may get it sorted eventually, Under warranty preferably, but to be honest I am paranoid about my loacl dealership, and the alternative just closed (dixons Worksop). So may just buy the parts and have it done at the garage our family have been taking cars to, including the company cars, for years.
  17. Bit of a bummer as I was going to use Nissan Worksop for sevicing etc from now on, as Chesterfield has hardly any room and they cram the cars in - door dings just waiting to happen. Looks like a long drive for me to find another. I seriously dont want to risk it at the tiny place. I beleive the next service is the last one anyway, so may not bother with a Nissan dealership anyway to be honest. Its not like Im looking to sell any time soon, and the difference having the last service from a Nissan dealership Vs another reputable garage will be minimal compared with the overall depreciation anyway. Still its a bit of a sad loss, as I did find the Nissan dealership at Worksop to be far more personable than the one here in Chesterfield. Unfortunately the arrogance of the top brass seems to filter down to the staff at the branches.
  18. I take it thats out of warranty? Even so, that sounds VERY steep, especially if they are going to do it just by rotating the axles first of all. Try another dealer would be my first thought.
  19. Sadly no known cure just yet - or at least my knowledge of sql needs improving. Its to do with the coding of the recent topics modification being done for sql4 and the board now residing on sql5, the modification has yet to be rewriten to work corectly with sql5. Once it is, the error will be fixed. I suppose the simplest way is to remove the recent topics link full stop until a working one can be added - probably better to have no link rather than a link that doesnt work. Sorry guys
  20. Or you can fit the Volks of your choice Or a whole host of others!
  21. Far too busy to bother myself with that trivial button. Ill get my coat... Thanks for the answers, something to remember if and when I can justify upgrading the ICE.
