I would wonder if Nissan approve of such a nice honourable dealer sporting their brand name. I certainly wouldnt.

Get well soon Phil, and good luck Andrew, Im sure the master has trained his apprentice well and everything will run smoothly!

Sounds like you got pulled by a complete twonk. Certainly not the attitude that should be dished out by the police, and certainly not the sort of officer that will do anything for the relations between public and authorities.

Yes they did. Unfortunately I think the US will have plenty more psycotic idiots lining up to take the place of these two. I am astounded at how race plays such a big part in American life in the 21st century. I think it incredibly embarrassing for the country that claims to be "the leader of the free world" that they cant seem to get over something as trivial as skin colour.

One team stayed on dry tyres - guess which one... I guess Trulli must have been instructed to add 25% to his sector times too just to make it look above board. -

Good job they must have binned the info they got from Ferrari then - otherwise they could have had the car blow up twice on Hamilton. If anything Ferrari should have hoped they were using the information! Massa had reliability issues and pit stop balls ups to contend with - all matters that reside within the control of Ferrari. Lewis on the other hand was battling some of the most bizzare and truly inexplicable stewarding decisions ever made. It was hard not to feel a little upset for Massa - how he must have been dreaming of becoming world champion by winning the Brazilian grand Prix in front of his home nation, and even to celebrate it for 20 seconds or so until they realised what had happened. None of the issues during this season were his fault, he just did the best he could with the tools he was given. PS. Even if Lewis had not gained 5th, they would have been level on points - but Massa would have won having had more wins. Though "level on points" is questionable given the net gain of 6 in spa and the extra 2 that he was gifted in Shanghai (unless of course Kimis car suddenly began sporting an anchor toward the end of that race). -
Congrats to 350z-uk being most popular

Its all down to the fantastic mix of people that makes up our community. From the excellent and knowledgeable traders, to the enthusiastic people that arrange meets, the "personalities" that reside on the forum, and everyone elses own unique contributions. Heres to all the members -
That makes no sense what so ever! Dress up as a fat guy and you have to beat them off with a stick - go out as a real life fat guy and not a sniff. Bloody mixed up world this is.

Voted 2 days, however for myself that would probably mean being involved in any social evening on the Saturday rather than the whole day. The Saturday of the Wales Weekend is usually reserved for Mrs Chesterfield shopping day

We are having the drive done at the moment, so hopefully it will be a great big muddy bog for them to walk across and it will put them off. To make doubly sure, we tend to go out for a meal to avoid them (they ship them into our area in people carriers as its considered "safer" where we live). Also Ill have the builders park the mini JCB in front of the front door. Should do the "trick".

Hi JAS and welcome. Please could you contact one of the team for instruction on how to become an official trader if you wish to sell items to members. Regards, 350z-uk.com team. -
I dont know which is the more valiant effort. The work going into copying the Reventon, or the fact that the second turnip built it in his basement. Seriously - what was the tool thinking? He had to dig down the side of his house, knock out a wall and winch the thing out. Plank.

They could at least pay for a detail if it doesnt need a paintshop job
-
If its just normal run of the mill paint, then give it a good wash, get some HD cleanse to get the wax etc off, and hopefully a clay bar would shift it without swirling or scratching. There are a few professional detaliers around on the forum that may be able to help - if you visit the detailing section you may be able to PM a few and see what they suggest.

Big Zed for business mileage? Feasible or stupid?
Chesterfield replied to James Junior's topic in 350Z General
Company car tax if its company provided would be awful. 35% bracket due to emissions, and an RRP on the GT pack car of £29,800 gives you a benefit on kind of £10,271 so multiply this value by your tax rate and thats the tax you pay. It will wipe out your standard allowance of £6035 and leave you with a nice K code of over 4000. i.e. you pay tax on over 4000 that you dont actually earn. If its private car used for business then at 20k miles you will get about £8000 but this will need to be offset against the depreciation on the 350 (which is not pretty at the moment) and of course your fuel (about £3500 for 20k miles by my rough calculations). -
Sorry to jump in, but I would like to voice my opinion on this. Lets say for a minute, that I had the Work IP ban, home IP ban and email domain ban lifted that the other site have placed on myself, and I was allowed to register and post on the other site.... If I were to visit a traders thread, and post up asking them if they wanted to advertise on the other site - would anyone want to wager how many nano seconds it would be before I was banned again? Unfortunatley those people (yourself included) that work hard to encourage unity and enhance everyones enjoyment of the car regardless of the internet site they frequent, will always find it an uphill struggle when attitudes such as those that have resulted in mine and others bannings from another 350z sites still exist. Perhaps the AGM should include a discussion on whether the people who harbour those attitudes thus preventing an ehanced sense of unity and enjoyment for all all 350Z owners are fit to hold the positions they do? The majority of the members on the other site and all that I have spoken to just want to enjoy the car. They aren't three headed mutants with a tatse for 350z-uk blood, they share the same enthusiasm and enjoyment of the car and all that goes with it. There does however seem to be a minority that wish to dictate when and with which club that enjoyment should take place.

For refference - Nissan in the US has released the following - pretty much in line with what everyone thought the answer would be, and certainly backs up the fact that switching VDC off alone will not void the warranty. In the US, they are now trying to clarify what terms "abuse" with Nissan, or more specifically at what frequency does the use of Launch Control move from acceptable use, to abuse. Though based on the above, I wouldnt be using it at all if I were an owner, just in case.
-
I agree in not using it, what I am stating though is that should my car be broken due to using LC, and Nissan refused to warrant the repair, I wouldnt be too chuffed to then find a video of one of their directors specifically "advertising" the feature. Would you?
