  2. Thank you, that's useful. There's an issue with that schematic as it has the non-rev-up configuration for sensors, i.e. a left and a right. I need 2 rights (24), but specifically the 3rd revision which uses metal shielding against heat. What I've asked for already is exactly that, but the specificity appears to be the issue. I'm going to get some cheap ones to get me running again while I dig into it. So far the difference between an unbranded sensor and a Nissan sensor from Tarmac is £20:£175, so there's a lot in it.

The traction control monitors wheel speed using sensors, which are integrated with the ABS sensors, so I would firstly be looking at that. Sensors, modules, and front hub bearing assemblies are always in stock. Failing that, I would be looking at the VDC If no cheap, quick fix can be found, then just run with the TCS off, as most of us do.
  5. In that case, please refer to the schematic below and take this with you to the Nissan parts department. but you will have to tell them what sensor you require, unless you want all 4.

Front right when turning right is why I noticed, just took her for a spin and going round a roundabout it's grabbing what feels like both fronts. Switch tcs off and no issue. Both front hubs replaced. No abs warning or faults.
  7. Yes, it's the rev-up, which explains why it's 4 of the same. Thanks for clearing that up.
  8. For the DE, Bank 1 is the straight one and Bank 2 is the angled one. The only exception to this on the DE is if you have the later rev up engine (not the HR) The rev up engine has 4 cam sensors. Alex.
  9. I'm having trouble with them. The initial contact seemed to indicate they were no longer produced and recommended Hitachi or Bosche as OEM brands. But they weren't sure and promised me a call back... a couple of days ago. 😒
  10. Tried Nissan themselves? Won’t be cheap, but will be right.
  11. Aghh! These things! They have become the bane of my driving life, so I'm going to bite the bullet and source the really expensive third revision (metal-shielded) Nissan part. (350Z DE camshaft sensor, for anyone who hasn't encountered them yet). But when conducting my first change I encountered an enigma: The videos and listings I've seen typically show these as a pair. One is flat, one is angled. I assumed that was simply cosmetic to aid in accessibiliy, but it turns out they actually have different plug connections. When I started rummaging around on the back of my engine I was surprised to find I had two of the flat ones in there. Importantly, I also had the corresponding plugs, which suggests it's deliberate and not 'bodged'. A bit of research suggests that during one revision, they opted to ditch the angled sensor in favour of two of the same flat sensors, with the corresponding connectors. But I've since found the opposite may be true: They swapped one of the flats for one of the angled cam/crank sensors. What's the crack? So after that long preamble, my questions are: Has anyone else found the same? Can anyone recommend a place I can buy 2 of the 3rd revision metallic flat sensors (23731-AL60D)? Cheers. P.S. I posted this to the FB group but the post's been waiting for approval for a couple of days and I need to get this fixed as the car's not starting well.

  13. Best to PM me with a list of what 370 parts you require Alex.
  14. Hi I am after Nissan 370z parts which I think are also the same on A 350 z can you help?
  15. Sounds good, let me know how you get on.
  16. Our slightly modified Z drove seamlessly through Europe to Nurburgring band back, plus a couple of Ring laps, not the fastest by any stretch but voted best sounding car on track by the group we went with!! 👍👌

  18. Probably not a good idea to put your mobile number on a public forum. better to use the PM function
  19. Hi I need Nissan 370z parts and I have been told you are the man to speak to.i have bad rust where the w brace bolts too. Where the kidney brack was at the rear I am after one of them each side so I can weld them in plus a high pressure steering hose. Thank you Advance Kind regards Lawrence.
  20. Lovely those are fella, nice one for coming. Cheers EVERYONE for coming out today, really can't thank you enough. Had a brilliant turnout, really enjoyed meeting Z owners old and new. All cars were looking amazing also. Spot the peacock!! Hope everyone got home safe and sound, see you for the next one ✅
  21. I have some friends in King's Lynn who might be able to take them off your hands and I can grab them next time I see them, I'll get back to you

I'd put it on a diagnostic tablet & graph all 4 corners on a screen, the graph will show you which (if any) are dropping out. My Launch does this, very handy indeed.

Stability control will be a constant calculation using yaw rate, steer angle and wheel speed. It will intervene if it detects oversteer or understeer by applying brakes and cutting engine power. Can't answer for specifics on zeds, but that's the general idea.
  24. Couldn't agree with you more, and a car that not everyone is aware of

What wheel is locking up on right turn? Is the wheel locking up without applying the brakes? All parts are in stock to fix this issue. Hubs, ABS sensors, yaw sensors. etc. etc. etc.

Hmm, so do you know if the stability control works solely from the yaw sensor or would the wheel speed have an input?
