  2. The thing is you can buy a roadster with between 60 - 85k on the clock for around 7k not being a write off. So wouldn't want to spend more on one
  3. Great turnout today guys and girls. Probably the best stand position we have had since Japfest was held at Combe in the olden times😂
  4. Bravo to all that turned up today, was a full house club wise from what I saw, 23 cars possibly more. Good to see some old faces and meet new ones
  5. Today
  6. What are you looking to spend then?
  7. Debating on whether its feasible to replace a roadster softop myself with some help? anyone done it before and what tools made it easier/any tips? Or better off going professional? soft tops on ebay are relatively cheap £400ish but a professional job can range to £12-1500 so abit of a saving hence thinking to try myself.
  8. I’d be up for this, is there any intention to get a club stand or is it a case of all of us going for the one make parking? fortunately my 370 is 2011😁
  9. Thanks, as much as I love the blue its a bit more then im looking to spend
  10. Last v1 kit ever made, now with the customer.

    Next Chapter

Had to add the final touch today.
  15. I would be willing to talk about around £10k as she sits. I am going to sort a new mot out in the next couple of weeks. We’ve just been and done the NC500 which was amazing. Anyway let me know.
  16. Come along anyway Olly, the BP is a great day out. They still have the one make parking sections and post 2012 Zs are welcome.
  17. Just thought i'd drop this on. Wife's 370z started doing odd things with the steering, sometimes randomly getting very heavy. Pump was sometime a bit noisy on full lock, but nothing much different to mine. Fluid levels were good, but I flushed a litre through and got it looking cleaner. Got noisier and noisier, then decided to pull the trigger on a new power-steering pump. Tarmac got me a Hitachi pump really quickly, Thanks Chris, which as far as I can tell is exactly the same as the £1200 one from Nissan. Local garage fitted it an now the steering as probably better than it ever was : )
  18. Had an utter nightmare with steering, randomly felt like it was seizing, fluid levels looked good, pump was randomly noisy, drove great when cold, but went really heavy when hot, I flushed out the fluid, still had random issues. Eventually it got really noisy, ridiculously so on full lock, so I ended up replacing the power-steering pump with the Hitachi one, Tarmac got me one really quickly, thanks again @Chris, and I got a local garage to fit it. As far as I can tell, the pump is the same unit that Nissan charge £1200 for, excluding fitting. So although it was still a bit hit, great result as the steering is better than it's ever been.
  19. Think it sold yesterday all the ads are gone. Massively overpriced.
  20. Last week
  21. Hi, picking one up from DSI this Saturday and can’t wait!
  22. Both the kits in your links will fit your DE. However, why buy from USA when you have loads of options in the UK. Consider how you are going to handle any potential warranty issues and return shipping costs. There are dozens of clutch kit options available for your application. Your choice will much depend on your driving style and if you plan to track the car. You may also consider swopping out the DMF when you have the box out, as some of the noise may be coming from that, as well as your bearing.
  23. Thanks mate, had a look on Z1 motorsports and looks like the kit will fit as it says for DE's only and has plenty of reviews so that fills me with confidence. Also its fair priced so happy to give it a go, cheers for your help.

  25. Considering the kit is from Z1 you'd likely find it cheaper to buy from Z1 directly - usually their stuff is quite good anyway
