I would be willing to talk about around £10k as she sits. I am going to sort a new mot out in the next couple of weeks. We’ve just been and done the NC500 which was amazing. Anyway let me know.

Come along anyway Olly, the BP is a great day out. They still have the one make parking sections and post 2012 Zs are welcome. -
Just thought i'd drop this on. Wife's 370z started doing odd things with the steering, sometimes randomly getting very heavy. Pump was sometime a bit noisy on full lock, but nothing much different to mine. Fluid levels were good, but I flushed a litre through and got it looking cleaner. Got noisier and noisier, then decided to pull the trigger on a new power-steering pump. Tarmac got me a Hitachi pump really quickly, Thanks Chris, which as far as I can tell is exactly the same as the £1200 one from Nissan. Local garage fitted it an now the steering as probably better than it ever was : )

Had an utter nightmare with steering, randomly felt like it was seizing, fluid levels looked good, pump was randomly noisy, drove great when cold, but went really heavy when hot, I flushed out the fluid, still had random issues. Eventually it got really noisy, ridiculously so on full lock, so I ended up replacing the power-steering pump with the Hitachi one, Tarmac got me one really quickly, thanks again @Chris, and I got a local garage to fit it. As far as I can tell, the pump is the same unit that Nissan charge £1200 for, excluding fitting. So although it was still a bit hit, great result as the steering is better than it's ever been.

Both the kits in your links will fit your DE. However, why buy from USA when you have loads of options in the UK. Consider how you are going to handle any potential warranty issues and return shipping costs. There are dozens of clutch kit options available for your application. Your choice will much depend on your driving style and if you plan to track the car. You may also consider swopping out the DMF when you have the box out, as some of the noise may be coming from that, as well as your bearing.
-
Thanks mate, had a look on Z1 motorsports and looks like the kit will fit as it says for DE's only and has plenty of reviews so that fills me with confidence. Also its fair priced so happy to give it a go, cheers for your help.

Considering the kit is from Z1 you'd likely find it cheaper to buy from Z1 directly - usually their stuff is quite good anyway

Hello Z Owners, I am Currently in need of a clutch kit as the thrus bearing sounds like its about to explode. While I've got the gearbox out I may as well replace the friction plate and pressure plate so have been looking into clutch kits. While doing some research I found that I need a 240mm friction plate as my car is an 05 DE. Using a parts site called RockAuto I can only find one kit that contains the correct size (all others are 250mm for HR flywheels etc). However this kit contains a coil sprung type pressure plate rather than the more common diaphragm type and I have no idea if this will work? Has anyone used this item or has any experience or advice as my head hurts with confusion at this point. Please see link for reference: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=4698246&cc=1431964&pt=1993&jsn=15 Looking at clutch kits in the UK and some advertise to fit DE's but are also 250mm? have I been barking up the wrong tree or can a 250mm fit my car also? I have found this kit which looks promising but is more expensive than ones from RockAuto as a backup. has anyone got experience with this kit from Torqen? https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/powertrain/clutch-flywheel-packs/263344-350z-z33-g35-z1-motorsports-mild-performance-clutch-kit.html Thanks in advance

Its coming along well. I've seen mixed views on oil cooler ports on the top / bottom (as you have them).

So the weekend just gone was the one, and it was time to get the new work wheels on. So it was new wheels, new steel wheel nuts, four yokohama advans, and removal of the wheel spacers. Went without a hitch and the car feels so much better to drive on without the spacers. Very happy with how it all went and how the wheels sit, the evenings spent working out sizes was well worth it Fronts 19x9.5 ET22 Rears 19x10.5 ET12

Been a while. Still waiting on the sill panels to come in from Japan and some steering rods from Australia. I have however received some bits back from powder coat which I'm very happy with. Decided to get the kidney braces done, even though they were brand new they already showed signs of rusting 🙄 Also received a care package from mishimoto, radiator, fans, intake and oil cooler. Thanks mishimoto for sponsoring the car!

Great work mate, the car is looking much better now 😁

The car from the beginning was giving me an intermittent limp mode issue, it wasn't very often in the beginning, but became more and more frequent, all 4 fault codes it was throwing was pointing towards one thing and unfortunately it is a fault with the stillen supercharger kit. Luckily for me Horsham Developments make a replacement loom for the throttle body and they fixed the issue quickly, as well as my exhaust leaks. I do have the say the new loom not only fixed the issue but also looks a lot nicer, so massive shout out to them. While I was there and now the car was running better than ever we decided to do a dyno run to see if the 530hp I was told when I bought the car was a fib like I thought it was...

I swapped out my spark plugs for some GTR plugs (one step colder) then went off the PetrolHeadism and took plenty of pictures that weekend, had a great time with great people

To show off the 2nd coolest mod on the car (boost), I decided to put my genuine Nismo V2 front bumper under the knife. I cut out the grill section and gave my charge cooler a clean and a coat of VHT silver. I used a multitool and a Dremel to perform the surgery and in all honestly its way cooler to see the cooler. I need to cover up those old license plate holes too.
