glrnet
My future modifications list (in no particular order) 1.) Full exhaust system - Nismo cat back (if I can find one) else Cobra would be the next best choise, Y-pipe and HFC. £££ 2.) Varrstoen ES2 - 19" matt black?? satin black?? or dark bronze?? £££ 3.) I.C.E - Double din with bluetooth, touch screen, android, reverse camera ££ 4.) Supercharger £££££ (this is a very long term plan, >6 years) 5.) DIY boot divider - I4N has some super high quality ones for sale but I fancy doing one myself £ - CHECKED 6.) Suspension system - Lowering springs? coilovers? £££ 7.) Stubby antenna - £ - CHECKED 8.) Wheel spacers - ££ - CHECKED 9.) Interior LED upgrades - £ - CHECKED 10.) Rear number plate LED upgrade - £ - CHECKED 11.) Rear tail lights LED upgrade - ££ 12.) LED side lights upgrade - £ - However I'm pretty lazy to get my fat hands into the little gaps to get into the holder 13.) Front bonnet dampers - Not sure if I should go CF or just standard - ££ or £ 14.) Boot weight removal - CHECKED 15.) Grooved and dimpled disc brakes (front and rear) and pads - still some meat left but once they are close to limit will get them swapped - £££ 16.) Braided brake and clutch hose - ££ 17.) Front DRL with indicators and will dim once side lights has been switched on - I'm planning to buy bits together and try to build one myself. Well, the plan is to buy some aftermarket DRL, DRL relay and a set of side reflectors. Then see if I can combine the aftermarket DRL into the side reflectors or maybe I'll end up fabricating one out of thin metal sheet and spray them back to match the car, just need to find some time for it - ££ 18.) DIY center console with integrated tablet (slot in/out type) - ££ but needing lots of skills and patience Rating: £££££ - Lots of serious and crazy money involve ££££ - Pretty expensive £££ - Expensive but worth the money ££ - Relatively cheap £ - Don't need to think twice Looking at the list above scares me best keep the cost away from my finance minister!! as long as she isn't the fiancé minister things should be fine!

veeg33
Tiny update 24th November 2014 Xmas present for my zed Nissan OEM gear knob to replace current old and worn. Thanks to Ewen from Clarks Motorsports And forum sticker in gunmetal grey for achieving 350 posts. Special thanks to M13KYF for sorting me out. Hopefully I can install them both this weekend and hopefully weather is good so that I can photoshoot my zed for the 2015 calendar entry Edited November 25, 2014 by veeg33

Really want to get some pics done for the calendar too. It's a good knob, nice and smooth :o haven't compare it side by side but this seems shorter. I must say, first impression when k open the box, I fall in love with it I've cut 2 pieces of rubber from scrap boost pipe and use the underneath my tools to avoid damaging current knob and the gear stick. Hope the weather is good for you Gareth. If the weather is bad, I might get some night shots Edited November 25, 2014 by veeg33
veeg33
29th November 2014: Weather was not great here but at least its not raining, hence I could go out there before sun runs out to get the forum sticker on!! Really like as it goes really really well with my zed, and will get another one for the driver side soon Then I move on the the gear knob. Purchase a OEM Nissan gear knob from Ewen at Clark Motorsport and today is definitely time to install it on to my zed Here's some of the tools I've picked for this job Those orange/red piece of rubber are from a scrap boost pipe. I highly recommend getting a set of those blue plastic trim remover (cost about a fiver on Ebay). They are really good, useful and most importantly doesn't scratch your panels. Here's a step by step guide (credits to rothers2901) --> http://www.350z-uk.c...r-knob-removal/ Picture of old knob vs new. I think the gear know is the original that came straight from factory hence 10 years old. I must say, it is PITA to get it removed. At one point, I almost give up but the condition of the old gear knob is not looking well after 10minutes of battle Finally, it decided to come loose but look at those battle marks Once the new one is on, you can see its relatively shorter and the leather surround needs to be lifted to fill up the gaps, so a little bit of tie wrap engineering at the bottom and lifted that up permanently Just a simple mod this weekend. Now I can't wait to get my hands on those rear LED lamps from Clark Motorsport (group buy specials - no fighting or pushing required as its not a Black Friday specials) Edited November 29, 2014 by veeg33

veeg33
Thanks Gareth and PPod. I washed my zed and give it a quick polish before I took it out to find a spot for photo shoot. Lucky enough, once I've completed, it started to rain heavily
GMballistic
I'm going to go out later to try to get some more pics as the weathers good & the Zeds clean. Just such a pain finding a decent place to take pictures especially with it being so busy at the moment. Went to a beauty spot the other weekend to take some pics & it was full of inconsiderate people walking dogs & playing with their kids, ...just selfish that if you ask me. I managed to locate a wholesale warehouse that is only active in the morning hence the spot was empty and creepy :o when I was there. Good luck in finding a spot Gareth. Good luck in finding a spot Gareth. Was a total bust today unfortunately, ...got too dull & dark plus I couldn't think of anywhere suitable so gave up in the end. Next weekends probably my last chance.
