RafsZed Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Hi guy's, I want your opinions on this, does the adding of a rear diffuser add to the look of the 350Z or is it a little ott for what mine is a fairly standard looking car, I do have a carbon fibre rear spoiler so if I did get a rear diffuser it would also be in carbon fibre to match. So do I add one or leave the car as it is? Quote
Grundy Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Wouldn't worry about peoples opinions. Do what you like and want. JDM Diffuser 2 Quote
RafsZed Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 I'm thinking of a similar diffuser that you have on your last pic. Quote
tatooandy67 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Go for it, if you change your mind/don't like it you could resell it on here to offset your costs 1 Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Top one looks nicer than the bottom one of Grundy's IMO. I do have one TS Diffuser with Carbon Vortex Generators in stock. If thats of interest drop me a pm Quote
GMballistic Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 It's all a matter of personal taste. Personally I'd follow Andy's advice: buy what you like & fit it ~ if you don't like it then sell it on to cover some of the original costs. 1 Quote
Hooch Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) The only rear I can find that looks good is the whole bumper, can't find a diffuser that I like. Its the Chargespeed rear bumper but if I was going to change it I would fill in the vents as its a bit OTT for me. Looks so sexy... Filled/flushed vents: Edited October 14, 2014 by Hooch 1 Quote
Payco Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 RT Performance offer their chargespeed with the vents filled although personally I dont think its OTT. Quote
KyleR Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 The TS diffusers in Grundy's top photos and StevoD's is the best way to go. It looks immense compared to the other style which looks like a cheap add on. I have a brand new genuine VIS Racing full carbon fibre TS diffuser for sale if you're interested Quote
Dicky Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 I'm sorry but I really do think the above diffuser looks absolutely hideous. But as they say beauty's in the eye of the beholder. 1 Quote
Mopedmark Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 This is the more common one, you can get it in carbon the centre part is of my own little tweek Quote
RafsZed Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 This is the more common one, you can get it in carbon the centre part is of my own little tweek Yup that's the one I'm thinking of in a carbon fibre finish to match the rear spoiler and wing mirrors. Quote

GMballistic Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Got it, now not sure I want it, hey ho now I have something to sell on eBay If you do decide to sell it don't put it on eBay, ...just sell it on here as for starters there are no fees to pay but also you might help a fellow Zed owner out that actually wants one. pjf1985 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 +1 sell on here! Which did you go for in the end? Quote

GMballistic Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Cheers pal, ive been looking at invidia gemini exhausts also as i like the burnt tips I've got an Invidia Gemini exhaust system on my Zed, albeit with the stainless steel tips & not the burnt ones ~ sounds fantastic. Rock_Steady Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Rear diffusers kick arse!! IMO, can't go wrong with a rear diffuser on a Zed. Quote
