JetSet Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Just having an epic thunderstorm here Florida style. Biggest one I've seen in 30 years and very close as well . Pete Quote
ioneabee Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 we had it this morning - hung around for several hours - very slow moving I think Quote
JetSet Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 (edited) Better now than at the weekend...gulp I don't think the Zed has a fast enough wiper speed to have coped with the intensity of the rain . Very warm and humid here all day and hardly a breath of wind but looks like the very warm air is on its way out. Pete Edited May 19, 2014 by JetSet Quote
Linus27 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Yep love thunderstorms. Saw an epic electrical storm in Italy once. That was interesting to watch. Quote

ATTAK Z Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Love a good thunderstorm ... witnessed some beauties in Africa Quote
StevoD Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Love a good thunderstorm ... witnessed some beauties in Africa Totally agree the wet season in Nigeria brings up some biblical storms Quote
Fodder Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Pretty epic here too but not quite as bad as I've heard your area got it Pete. Knocked out sky and BT broadband for a while too. Michael Owen posted a pic that his house if flooded by about an inch of water too. Can watch lightening for hours, nature puts on impressive shows from time to time. Quote
