samu23 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Hi All Pretty sure my clutch only has a month or 2 left before it lets go! So I have a few questions in preparation. Whats the going rate on labour for a clutch change these days? Will probably get the parts from Zman/Clark, and I understand its best to get the fly done whilst it's accessible. The car only has basic bolt-ons. No FI planned so I think a standard clutch should be up to the job? Based in West Sussex but willing to travel for a a good price/service. Cheers Sam Quote
ZMANALEX Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 4 x hour maximum, so depend on the hourly rate. Alex. 1 Quote
Yampiedog Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I reckon you are looking at £1000 minimum to get clutch and flywheel replaced. Quote

hensh65 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Infiniti glasgow do a rate of £55 per hour, probz £250 wouldn't be far off. Quote
HARMLU Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Priced it up a while back and was about £900 for whole set up and labour. You might have to shop around a bit though. Quote
Yampiedog Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I used Formula 1 Autocentre and they will price match nearly anyone except Mr Clutch (who from googling should be avoided) Nissan dealer offered to fit anything you provide and they were only slightly dearer than Formula 1 Quote
WhackyWill Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Don't go anywhere Mr Clutch, should carry a government health warning, they had four attempts at fitting a clutch in my mates Golf, it still "judders"... Quote

Have to agree with that, they butchered No 1 daughter's Polo 2 or 3 years ago, Crawley branch, steer well clear. Quote
