gareth29 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 The solution to the misted up Z? - Someone posted the other day that these had made a difference (allowing him to leave the windowst slightly ajar). Can anyone supply these for a 350Z? How do the insurance companies look upon claims on cars with windows left open? Thanks in advance Quote
BulletMagnet Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 How do the insurance companies look upon claims on cars with windows left open? Are you serious? Just in case you are it would be the same as if you left the car unlocked. Quote
glrnet Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Or as WW would say :scare: The solution to misted windows is to set your A/C to auto. Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Every car mists up, my mate has a Gallardo which does it so don't worry its not down the car its just natural, like when you have a shower and the mirror mists up. Just trying to re-assure you, all you need to do is put on the aircon for a bit, drop your window a little (while in the car lol) and it's gone.. 2 Quote
fellsteruk Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Deflectors on a zed. Wouldn't that look shocking? Sorry just saying Quote
Humpy Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Just use the air con and it's good to use the air con now and then. Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I have the A/C on all the time. Me too Grezza Quote
gareth29 Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 I have the ac on all the time too - still a lot of condensation when you come back to it during after some winter days at work. The condensation freezes and its a right pain, just when you want to get home - maybe its just a northern problem? I get it on sunny cold days too - the inside warms up and then the warm air condenses out onto the screen - ac makes no diff here. Not worried about security as the car park is private and locked. Regarding the look of them, yes i was a bit doubtful too!! Quote

In my experience misting is always worse in 2 seater (sports cars), reckon its down to the smaller cabin area. Mine mists up in seconds if I get in with even slightly wet clothes on. Pete Quote

R35LEE Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Wind deflectors bond on and some have a few clips. The one thing they all have in common is that they are all crap especially on the frameless side glass of a 350. Listen to the guys on here they know what they are talking about Quote
gareth29 Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Right - Think I will just get some for the sharan i've got - which suffers much, much worse than the Z - i cant really spoil the looks of that, although after nearly 9 years it is quite dear to my heart Quote
ddcboyle Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I understand what you mean about the window doing it faster than the AC, and you can get wind deflectors for the 350z from US, but their basically just stuck on, wouldn't want to drive at any speed with them. And their hideous Quote
BillyZed Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Open the window and drive as fast as you can, 30 seconds later its all gone and wont recirculate around the car Quote
