celiabaker Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Hi I want to run 9.5j et22 and 10.5 et12 With front 245/40/18 & 265/35/18 on the rear? Would this be okay to run different profiles? I can't get the tyres I want in the same profile? Or go for different tyres? Quote
Jetpilot Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 Any reason you want a 265 and not 275? Quote
celiabaker Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Any reason you want a 265 and not 275? The tyres I want only go 265 they don't do 275. 265 no good? Quote

Ceejay29 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Hi All, I am considering a new set of wheels; fancy a change. Maybe some Work's...M1R Would somebody be able to ease my concerns or offer assistance surrounding the dreaded offsets; I believe the following specs should fit? Front 19 x 9.5J +ET20 with a 245 tyre Rear 19x 10.5J +ET20 with a 275 tyre. I am after an aggressive yet realistic set up. The Zed has had a number of suspension upgrades and I am not averse to minor arch modifications. What I must bear in mind is that I have an Akebono set up and I want to avoid spacers. Any help woud be greatly apprecited. My build thread can be found here should it help; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/83318-ceejays-jdm-and-bay-let-the-fun-begin/page__st__140 Quote

Ceejay29 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I do not want to stretch tyres again; ruins the ride and rims (IMO). So in answer to your question....maybe flush. Quote
StevoD Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 i would go 255/35/19 275/35/19 and is your getting M1r you want to be looking at an offset around +8 to +15 might aswell get the custom Quote
Ceejay29 Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Thanks Steveo; +8 sounds aggressive? I presume worse case scenario at +15 I could inlude a 5mm spacer to achieve +10? ideally want to get it bang on. Also, do people vary front and rear offsets or opt for the same all round? Quote
Jetpilot Posted December 31, 2016 Author Posted December 31, 2016 (edited) I was kind of hoping this thread would be for examples and info so members could work out what works and what doesnt and give them the confidence to get it right, not fitment queries. Could we try to keep it as intended please guys Its also a bit of a shame that 2 pages is as good as it gets with all of the members running nice rims Edited December 31, 2016 by Jetpilot Quote

There customs made wheels don't run spacers just get them in right offset 1 Quote

celiabaker Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 For anyone really struggling to find you right size wheels to buy this link might be handy. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=235&aspect=50&diameter=17&wheelwidth=7.5&offset=30&width2=275&aspect2=40&wheel_size=18&wheel_width=10-5&offset2=15 You basically type in your existing tyre size and wheels size details and your new wheel and tyre size details and it shows you stuff like arch gap loss, how much more poke you will have, even how much your speedo will be effected! I've attached a picture of a standard 350z wheel and tyre size with what people normally tend to run after market. 1 Quote
