Same here. Just finished prepping up all the vege and stuff ready for tomorrow - so all I need to do is put them on the hob, wang the turkey in the over and sit back and wait

Yep, Xmas the kitchen is mine, no-one allowed in. Out will come perfect roasties and a hunk of roast beef, cumberland chipolotas and yorkshire puds. Oh and some veg I suppose.

Mmmmh. I see what you're getting at but she does agree with me that I can't cook.(the current one that is). Apparently beans on toast doesn't count !

Small panic the pub were ordering the turkey and venison but thought I was. Didnt find out until late afternoon.

 

Thank god for the local game supplier.

My normal role over the last 6 xmas' is to roll in from the pub around 5am, put the turkey in, get up about 10 felling like i got ran over by santas sleigh and then finish cooking the veg. I usually manage to get the veg done to a good standard but the turkey vastly depends on whether i turn the oven or not. Butchering a turkey into bits that can be cooked in 2 hours will get you a severe telling off.
