Well done mate I'd like a Gtr soon but after two years I'm still having too much fun in her to get rid, and don't think I would get anywhere near what id like for her. I hate stuck up people id just ignore them, any plans for her?

Just thought id pop over to the gtr forum to see if you had any more pics of your lovely motor and was suprised to see your epic thread had hit 17 pages, but as i scanned through i had to say i was really suprised.

What a load of condescending, patronising, high and mighty, "we are better than you" members there are on there. Just because some young guy who has worked hard and saved for his dream car actually gets it and gets extremely excited about it (as would i) and rather than say well done many reply with negative comments and state the creditability of their forum is going down the pan. What a load of idiots.

Anyway rant over - just wanted to say blummin well done and enjoy your gorgeous car. More pics please.

And so nice to see the difference in the replies here, just goes to show the difference in mentality of the users of this place

I know right :(

I like to post alot on forums, i like to share alot, some people like low key some dont, and i dont, i like to share, but alot of members over there didnt like me sharing alot. They say the GTR cred going down the pan becuase a young lad has bought one, i been working 7 days a week in my business, saving up for it, its not like mummy and daddy bought it for me (my dad has a KIA btw) and to be honest, although i dont have a GTR im probably going to post on here more as its alot more chilled and friendly here, thats if its ok with you 350z guys ;)

As for plans, yes i got a Stage 1 booked in for December which will take it to any figure between 570-600bhp, i already have the Miltek Y-Pipe fitted on her, so the stage 1 tune is half the price, as half of it is the Y-Pipe the other half the mapping. Cant wait !!!

I also am between 2 minds about what to do to the black skirts, front lip and back, im thinking either a Carbon fibre kit down there with lips on the sideskirts OR get them wrapped white to match the car, not sure yet.

As for pics, was going to do some today and a little yt vid, but weather is awful so will wait for a nicer day.

Thanks guys :) Yes Ian, felt hostile at times, as anyone can understand i was super excited and posted alot on my progress of buying one, getting advice taking pics etc, as it was a GTR forum and i was buying a GTR i thought that was the point, but some felt i was using it like a social media site, others really enjoyed watching my experience and day of buying it. Never mind, cant please everyone. I suppose its a different breed of peeps that own a GTR i just hope if i go to any meets thats its a bit more laid back and chilled.

Got the link for your posts? Maybe some of us would like to read :)

It's less of the fact you started one thread that managed 17 pages, more of the fact you started 35 different threads before even buying a GTR that irritated some of the GTROC users.

http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/search.php?searchid=6772441

I've never found the place hostile and can see both sides of the argument. It is exciting buying a new car but 35 different threads is a bit OTT by anyone's standards.

And it's nothing to do with how you earned your money to buy the car as it was yourself that felt the need to bring up the fact you worked for the money and weren't given it. I'm yet to meet someone on GTROC that was just given the money to buy a GTR, myself included.

Either way, nice to see someone following the same route I took of 350z to GTR.

Just read through that 17 page thread and as with any internet forum your always going to get the keyboard warriors and haters out there. Enjoy the GTR Dean and hopefully will meet up at a meet down South soon and can have a nosey :)

Bad news, got a transmission fail check, and now engine managment light on saying visit dealer. Car has been picked up today under warranty and taken to Middlehurst Motorsport in St Helens, to have work carried out under warranty :(

I never have the best of luck buying cars.

this is my concern when paying 35k for a 70k car. . . maybe why I always end up overpaying becasue i am too scared to take a risk!! haha. I hope it gets sorted soon! I read through your thread and I think it was just one person being a tw@ to be honest... the others were just 'breaking your balls' I think...

Ignoring the forum, i have to give Credit To Nissan Middlehurst Motorsport, they have been nothing but help to me, had a phonecall 8:30am this morning, Nissan oraganised transport for me and was on a low loader by 11:30am and off and away, constant email communication and support, and looks like i will be getting service and a stage 1 while its up there too :)

So credit where credits due.
