Thought I'd best introduce messen now that I've been a zed owner for a few days. Bought a 350 GT on a 58 plate in gunmetal grey on Tuesday and I haven't stopped smiling since. Really like the car, as does everyone that has seen and commented on it. I traded in my beloved Celica that I had owned for 7 years, but the zed is a different class. She's done 29k miles, came with a full Nissan service history and a 12 month warranty, and as said earlier...I'm grinning like a demented cat from Cheshire. Just a couple of questions for you learned people.....1) There is no boot floor in my car, just a flimsy carpet between the boot space and spare wheel, is this normal? 2) My headlight beam seems a little on the high side. Is there an adjustment switch on board anywhere, as I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance  BTW...I live in Eckington, which is between Sheffield and Chesterfield, so if you are in those parts and are dazzled by some other zed driver, then it may be my headlights during the night...or my incessant grin during the day :teeth:

Welcome ... in answer to your question it's a yes for both

Really? How long have you been out of a 350 for? :p

There should be a plastic panel beneath the carpet. :pmzmanalex: for one

The lights being Xenons don't have a switch inside, this is because they are auto leveling. A quick google will tell you how to adjust them from the lamp itself.

:welcome: to a car that carries a potent desease which causes severe weight loss to you wallet

Hello and :welcome:

As said above, there should be a thin plastic type floor under your boot carpet. No idea how much they are new/used, but should be easy enough to make using the carpet as a template

Congrats on choosing the best colour too :stir:

Thanks for the welcomes, folks, and for the answers to my questions. I may try to cut a floor panel using some hardboard. If that don't work then I'll contact the person mentioned earlier. You are not kidding about lightening the wallet !! My Mrs thinks I'm having an affair with the lady at the petrol station :p
