Rizzo00 Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Hi, Just wanted to say hi I've been browsing these forums for a while finally got signed up. I've had my 350z since May I couldn't be happier and I don't even care about taking the loan out anymore to get one of my dream cars. She has a little work to do on her but I don't mind. Recently just replaced the side indicators as one was cracked got these off ebay fantastic and look much better than the stock ones in the picture. http://www.ebay.co.u...23&cmd=ViewItem Also had all the alloys cleaned up by a guy who does all the companies cars at work can't recommend this guy more his work is fantastic. Also cleaned the headlights had some bad yellow haze on one of them they look brand new now. He covers Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire http://www.completecarcosmetics.co.uk/ very useful for anyone looking for some work to be done. I've just purchased some black plasti dip now to tackle the window wiper arms, as I can see a common problem with the 350z. I was going to spray them but I want to try out this plasti dip and see what the finish is. Quote

bronzee Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 The oldest 350's are cracking on 10 years or 11 years old, and even some of the slightly later models, if it's been driven, you have to expect a few little things to need fixing. Quote

Absolutely I was fully aware when buying it, really glad I did though. I like the idea of a bit of work on it anyways. My aim to get her to a pristine level throughout, all paint work sorted and interior spotless by the end of the year. Then next year look at engine, suspension, brakes etc. Quote
Sarahhp18 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Welcome :-) I've used Chris @ complete car cosmetics before when I worked in Derby. Quote
