Shaun1982 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I was told when I changed address that I'm in no worse or better post code so it's not down to that. The sp30 makes £50 difference I was also told so factor in I'm now a homeowner this time round too which makes me think they are having my pants down Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta Quote

Will370z Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) I was wondering when you were going to pipe up about that.....and to think you have a faster car than the ginger ninja with the uprev and the better clutch.........lol Edited June 20, 2013 by Will370z 2 Quote
Shaun1982 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I'd always been led to believe that being a homeowner lowered premiums as you aren't out as often & seen as not driving like a knob as much lol. Then lower premium again when you're married. Probably total shite mind. Either way I'm not in the slightest happy paying the most I've ever paid fir any car in my driving life Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta 1 Quote
Griffos Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 For 2 of us on the insurance it's £500 with £250 excess. Technically that's £250 with £125 excess each. Do I win? Quote
Cozzi Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Whos the youngest on the forum? and what's their insurance like? Im 23...? Quote

The Bounty Bar Kid Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 £526 with a £0 excess. My latest quote. But that's just to give me a rough guide as its with no mods. Insurance is due next month. £715 with mods declared. Quote
Cozzi Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 There's an 18 year old member around here somewhere I believe. I wouldnt like to think what insurance they are paying unless they've been a jammy bugger and got it cheap! Quote
Stevew14 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 £195 with £350 excess in total, I'm 34 and was surprised how cheap it was. Had to double check it to make sure it was right. Quote
JetSet Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 £347 for mine, £367 for Caroline's roadster (which includes 500 miles business use), £250 Excess, probably be a bit less but I have a CH postcode. Pete Quote

Wendy Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 That is brilliant. So you going to share with us - how or why you get it so cheap - Please !! :-) Quote
JackLandels Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Lowest quote so far is £3500!! I'd end up paying x2 that each month... lucky devil Quote
Terence Bower Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Actually,no its not the cheapest,I got the same figure quoted yesterday. Only thing is,as the car is very often abroad, couldn't take advantage of it as was told there is no European cover available! Got another quote from a recommended ,on here, broker, they wanted twice the £313 ,£per bhp! lol,I had been quoted by AXA. I need to keep shopping around I think. Quote
SimonPG Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 £193 with £200 excess and I'm only 21 so cant complain with that That's impossible unless you do 10 miles a year surely! Who are you with? Quote

Benedunn Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) £193 with £200 excess and I'm only 21 so cant complain with that having been 21 myself once i also find that quite difficult to believe i think you may have missed a 1 of in there somewhere Edited August 12, 2013 by Benedunn Quote
maddog1982 Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I thought I did well with 316 with Esure. Who is everyone with? Quote
maxi-glasgow Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I thought I did well with 316 with Esure. Who is everyone with? That's about what I pay with esure on my 350 roadster and having 7 penalty points so I thought it was a good price. Quote
