I know most people go for the 19 inch ones but i was just wondering if anyone had a pic of their zed with 18 inch Rota Grids on it, preferably bronze on a blade or even any aftermarket similar type 18 inch wheels. Thanks in advance, Steve

It's ok on speed bumps yep. However you have to go over on one side of the car rather than straight over them..... I tend to try and avoid all speed bumps

You lot are girls lmao, I have to drive on pavements sometimes to avoid speedbumps but needs must as I'm dropped about 35-40 mm front and rear lol

I've just put on Rota GTR and GTR-D in 18x8.5 ET30 front and 18x9.5 ET25 rear, with stock sized tyres. I decided I didn't want too much fitment agression.

My suspension is also standard - and so it looks like this (please excuse the un-staged nature of the photos  )

Personally, I like the 18" look over 19 - I like a bit of arch room as the tight or over cambered look makes me cringe a bit.

I'm really happy with these wheels - just what I wanted. :yahoo:

Big thanks to Tarmac for the supply. Great idea of his to go for a GTR/GTR-D combo instead of same both ends.

They look awesome. I didnt like the gtrs when i seen just the wheel but they look brilliant fitted. Im now trying to decide either gtr or grid. I take it the gtrd has got the deeper dish i.e the back ones? I like the combo of the 2. It also doesnt look too high not being lowered and id be happy with that. Neil you should just get hydraulics fitted

19's don't require crazy camber unless you go for crazy offsets. 18" and 19" wheels side by side have the same arch gap as the tyre sidewalls compensate for the size loss on 18" wheels ie a 45 profile rather than 35 profile. Side by side the wheels are almost the exact same height

There is a kit that lifts the car to go over bumps but it's stupid money and cars a track car so don't really need them. If its sunny and I take her out I just do the usual avoidance manouvre lol

Yup, the GTR-D (dish) is on the back. Both types of wheel without tyres in these different 18" sizes come in at 10.1kg (by my bathroom scales) so a good bit less than OEM but a bit more than Rays. Only worry I have is I put a pair of Ventus V12 (245x45x18 partworns) on the 9.5" D's so they are ever so slightly stretch. Fronts are fine but I'll be revisiting tyre choice on replacement next spring.

Very nice pics guys. Just so im sure, the size 18x12 et20 - 18 meaning diameter, 12 being 12 inch wide? And et20 being offset? What is offset anyway? I always thought it was the camber but now im not so sure
