Chesterfield Posted March 21, 2012 Share Posted March 21, 2012 We are pleased to announce that this year as part of the Wales event we will be supporting a chosen local charity of Hope House. Hope House Children’s Hospices provide care and support to life limited children, young people and their families. (They are currently caring for over 320 terminally ill children and their families). You can read more about the fantastic work that Hope House do by clicking their logo below. We are currently looking at, and discussing with other parties ways in which we will be able to raise money for this good cause during the weekend. As many will know we had a fantastic raffle last year, and are looking to replicate this again this year - with 100% of the money from the sale of tickets being donated to Hope House. We have already had some very generous donations from traders here and will be producing a full list of the prizes shortly. In the meanwhile if there are any traders or individuals that wish to provide item/s for the raffle, or wish to offer alternative means of generating funds for Hope House during the course of our weekend, please feel free to contact any member of the team. We usually put on quite a spectacle for the people of North Wales during the weekend, and it will be nice for them to see we are doing something positive for those children in their local area who may never be fortunate enough to be able to smile and wave at our convoy out on the road. Check out your drinks cabinet too, remember, one persons poison is another persons pleasure!!
