Karlp Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Whats the best way to clean the above guys, around the door surrounds and shuts, and also the inside the fuel cap. Quote
Lexx Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Same way you clean the rest of the car only on a smaller scale. Quote
Chris`I Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I tend to get in there with a Envy brush and then wipe with an MF cloth after a quick rinse off with a hose on low power Quote
andlid Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Karl, are you planning on breaking the 'new thread starter' record on here ? maybe try and consolidate your threads to a big MASSIVE one? Quote
Zugara Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 i would be inclined to use soapy water, i suppose Quote
HEADPHONES Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 If you don't have the time to shop for specific products you can use any APC like flash and agitate with a paintbrush rinsing thoroughly after Then a little wax or sealant Quote
rtbiscuit Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 i like to lick mine clean, but if i fancy a change, i just tend to use what ever i used cloth wise on the wheels, and what evers left in the washing bucket. which at the moment is zymol; (all they had in halfrauds for an emergency wash,) but it smells amazing. Stroudy Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Easy to clean the door sills with a wash mit, rinse off gently and dry Quote
bronzee Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I tend to get in there with a Envy brush and then wipe with an MF cloth after a quick rinse off with a hose on low power Same. Also if you do clean the door shuts and inside the petrol flap every week (only takes a few minutes), then it doesn't build up and become a nightmare to clean. Quote
Ricey Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Snowfoam for the petrol cap. Strange of a question as it is I know what he means.......you can't exactly open your door and go sloshing about with a bucket - I generaly give a quick wipedown with the drying cloth Quote

Means it just trickles out so the interior doesnt get splashed Quote
Ekona Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I grab the mitt after I've cleaned the rest of the car, one last dunk in the bucket and quick wipe over. Quote
