I have been working on this for about 8 weeks now. I brought this from a salvage yard for two reasons.

1) I love a car project and this restoration had my name all over it

2) it was cheap! and to buy a good Nismo 350z we are talking some serious $$$!

I am about 2-3 weeks away from paint and just have the rear quarters to beat :bang: and then its ready for quality control before paint.

I have sourced all my parts from ZmanAlex who has been fantastic, is there anything this man cannot get!

More pics to follow

Oh and its on bricks! as I am sealing the underside of the car.

Good Luck with it, You planning on doing the painting yourself! I can give you a few tips as I have just been through it! And I am only down the road! :)

Thanks Beau

You have been through the pain! I take my hat of to you..

It may look like i have gone overboard with the primer but every panel had damage even the good ones, damage is damage and so full respray is needed.

A full respray is good though! This way you dont have to worry with getting a dead on match plus the body will look brand new! Will you be removing the trims though?

Good job matey  I'm not too bad when it comes to the mechanical side of things but wouldn't even know where to start with respraying properly. Wish i did as my front bumper and bonnet need doing!!

Again real nice job bet your proud B)

Very well done mate. Was the car categorised at all before? Or was it clear?

Must have cost you a pretty penny to get all the parts and get the spray done. Still much cheaper than buying one stock? Although.. the condition of yours now would be far above a similar aged Zed..

Nicely done

Thanks guys I am glad the hard work paid off.

well I could of brought a stock 350 in poor condition for what its cost me, but then I would of spent money on it anyway to bring it up to spec.

I am happy with the finished car and I know this car is well repaired and not full of filler

Thanks :pmzmanalex: for the hard to find parts your a star.
