  1. Hi all, Not sure what it's like in the UK but in the US, most of the ebay exhausts for sale fit the 350z and Infiniti G35. The G is slightly longer than the Z so they sell the exhaust with extensions. If anyone bought a 350z/G35 exhaust from ebay or where ever else and it came with extensions, you wouldn't need them for your 350z, but I am looking for them for my G35 as I bought an exhaust from a Z owner. I am in the US now but I'll be visiting over christmas. Let me know if anyone has a pair knocking around. Check out the link in case you are confused........ http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUAL-4-5-BURNT-TIP-STAINLESS-RACING-CATBACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-FOR-350Z-Z33-G35-V35-/191163010156?fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item2c82340c6c:g:0KEAAOSwMKpUZqA7&vxp=mtr Thanks Beau
  2. I think the new paint Job is far better than the cheap standard original Paintwork that flakes and chips ever so easily...but hay I don't expect any of you lot to believe me
  3. To clarify things, when I bought the car it was for sale as a "CAD D". This I imagine would have been what the insurance company accessed the damage to be. Now I'm not certain on how it works, but I think it works partly on the value to repair the car to what the cars worth... Anyway, what I'm trying to say is the cars not actually registered as a "CAD D" but upon receiving it, it was advertised so. On the DVLA V5 it does not state any form of accident or CAD D in it's history. I know it seems this cars been for sale for 2 years, but I've been using it and this is the first time I am serious about selling it as I'm migrating to the US. However if it does not sell for around what I am asking I will be taking her to the US with me. I get the feeling a lot of people on this forum feel I have bodged this job and fixed it up on scrap but that is certainly not the case. My 16 year old son encouraged me buying the car as his all time favourite car was the 350z and at the time unaffordable for me until this this came up. I then bought it and me and my boys brought it back into life. CAD D's may go for 40% less value but I couldn't care less. I know what the cars worth to me and I'm happy to keep it if it doesn't sell. She's more than a piece of metal to me. Also the whole reason why I documented it on here was for the enjoyment of you guys as well as receiving help from the community which was fantastic. The original reason why I have put this up for sale is because my other son has purchased a bare supra sell and we now have plans on building up a custom Supra. Alongside this I only drive her 6 months of the year and put on less than 3000 miles so she's not getting used much, as the milleage shows. Anyway she's coming out of hibernation soon for her last few months on British soil (if she doesn't sell) so anyone wanting to check her out in flesh is welcome.

    I need a 4x4!!

Had my landcruiser for 14 Years and it's never let me down! Does everything I need it to with ease and will do triple digits on the motorways, what more could you ask... The X5's are great for normal road driving but I've seen one get stuck on a flat wet field. They have 4 wheel drive but have no centre diff lock, or rear or front diff lock so once one wheel starts spinning you're stuck, even with good tyres!
  5. I am open to offers, but I do have a good 6 months to sell her so I am in no rush and I'm not going to give her away for silly money. I know what the cars worth and I know regardless of the "CAT D" how immaculate this car is and anyone is welcome to come prove me wrong. Regarding the CAT D on insurance. The car is not logged as CAT D or having any accident at all. Therefore I would assume you do not need to declare this to the insurance company. As I said, if anyone is interested please PM me, I'm quite busy so spend little to no time on the forum. I realise some of you think this car is worth pennies due to the incident and being a cat D but the car drives superb and there is nothing wrong with it's condition.
  6. It's been a year now, and I've only managed to use her for 4 months during the summer gone and she was sweet to drive. I've been really busy with work and my family so have had little time to spend on the great forum. Anyway, after a long wait, I've finally become a US resident and I plan on immigrating to the US within the next 6-8 months. That means that my zed for sale here will need to go. I've looked into taking her there but I think there is too much hassle and cost involved. It's a shame, she would have fit in nicely in sunny florida! The zed remains the same from what I originally described. I still have the Vertini wheels, no GT4 wheels though. If interested please PM me and I will send more details and pictures. Here's one I managed to find located on my laptop.
  7. Glad people are finding this guide of good use! Should save you lot some cash

    Wanted - Iphone 4s/5

Second hand 4s's are around the £200-£250 for good condition ones, unlocked versions are much higher including the 32 and 64gb models... I did think about the Nexus, my friend has one but I just dislike the android interface and I'm much more comfortable with the Iphones and how they are. Plus the 4s is a lot more compact and smaller which is what I want compared with the other smartphones right now, would much prefer the 4s over the 5.
  11. Hi guys, a bit off topic so sorry... My current Nokia has died on me after years of service so I'm looking for something a bit more modern...but being my clumsy self I think a second hand unit is better for me, as well as the price. So am looking for either a Iphone 4s mainly, but may be able to stretch to an iphone 5 if the price is right If anyone wants to get rid or has any for sale, drop me a PM and hopefully we can work something out Thanks, Beau
  12. My golfs like that, but some people have changed the settings to make only one click open both doors. I think they programmed the key fob somehow... but I have no idea how you'll go about doing it on a 350z. Guessing it's the facelift models, as my pre 2005 unlocks both doors with one click
  13. Get some good paint compounding paste and it'll help to remove the orange peel on the paint. It would have also been good to use a finishing filler mix which is very fine and you apply a thin layer over the original filler and then give it a quite fine sand down, before going onto painting. Good attempt though
  14. I should have mentioned, sorry for that. The front is 225 40 18, and the rear is 245 45 18". I've had them on my 350z running with no traction control issues or anything.
  15. Here I'm selling my set of 18" Rays GT4 wheels, these wheels are very rare as they only came on the GT4 models here in the UK. Reason for sale is that I'm not a fan of them and prefer to be a bit unique. I was planning on keeping them and selling them on with the car in the future, but I think I'll be holding onto the 350z for a while, and meanwhile the wheels are just taking up space. The specs: 18" Rays wheels - GT4 Front - 8" wide, 30 offset and 225 tyre. Rear - 8.5" wide, 33 offset and 245 tyre. Two tyres are brand new and have never seen the road, and the other two have 7mm tread. Tyres aren't anything special, but they're not bad either. They are Achilles Radial sport. The wheels are in excellent condition as they have been refurbished professionally as close to the original colour. There are no kurb marks or scratches on the wheels. Photos below says it all. All wheels balanced and ready to roll... I'm looking for £650 for them. As pictured, they do come with the original Nissan centre caps as well. PM me if interested or for more info. Also I'm located in Milton Keynes, a courier can be arranged!
  16. Hey guys, thought I would shine some light of a common problem on these... Took her out of hibernation the other day and when she reached running temperature the fans didn't kick in and the temp slowly started to rise, tapped the fans and they sprung back into life, but not for long. Decided to do a short youtube clip on how to go about repairing them, hope it saves you all some money and time Hope it helped! Beau
  17. Its numbers like this that scare me... its pretty much a dead cert that the air suspension is going to go at some point and £3k to resolve it is ridiculous money. I'd hope that there is a cheaper alternative out there with pattern parts or something. But even if i only drive it for a year just to get it out of my system, and hopefully avoid these big bills, i'll be happy. I know a few guys who have had there air suspension go on them on the RR. The best and cheapest alternative was for them to just stick springs on. I would have considered a RR over my Landcruiser, if reliability wasn't such a concern, theres a reason they "seem" so be good value for money. But saying that, when they work they are sweet machines
  18. MOT booked for this week, so fingers crossed she'll pass first time!
  19. Cars still available, will be going in for the MOT next week hopefully, and then onto taxing her
  20. Sold those bits on mate Yes, sure will get the pics posted tomorrow, cheers
  21. An Old Landcruiser would do you well, and you may find when you come to sell it you may get more. They seem to be getting more expensive these days. Never been a fan of Landrovers/rangerovers , they rust as fast as they drink the fuel Have a look at a 70 series Landcruiser? Alternatively what about a Pickup, Old Hilux?
