    fuel economy

The highest I ever got and I commute everyday from Milton Keynes to London, and occasionaly use the 350z I manage a solid 33mpg averaging a speed of 78mph, about 70% of that on the motorway. So overall I can easily manage a good 450 miles off the tank
  2. I have been on talk talk for a few years know. They are good when things are working, but recently I noticed my speed is very bad, and when complaining they say "its a common problem, you will need to upgrade to fibre" which will cost more and BT offer a better packages.... I get about 0.4 mbs from them (not on fibre). If you want good speed BT is the way to go!
  3. I think that one was made on a friday!
  4. Someone else on the forum had the link up a couple days ago but then removed Both a good deal on both the seller and buyer.
  5. well for starter is a TOYOTA, so reliable as hell and wont depreciate quickly. But I would get the windows tinted and maybe some nice 20" Black deep dish wheels, I think it has the same PCD as the 350z right, 5 x 114?
  6. To be honest I think F1 has become a bit of a "who can last the longest and conserve there tyres the best race" It shows becasue as the last few laps buttons engineers said, go for it, as they had more rubber left on the tyres and obviuosly the fuel to last. This is where it goes wrong. Drivers should be pushing the car on the limit every lap and not have to worry about low fuel, or more importantly the tyres "falling off the clif". They should design a tyre that will at least go for a good 20 laps so that drivers can push the cars to the limit and we will see more competition involved. The only reason why red bull are out of everyones league is because they have a very good overall package which does not eat up the tyres, like what the ferraris were doing. If I had it my way I would put back fuel Pit stops, bring in some longer lasting tyres and let the drivers race on the edge and push the car. Then again, I wont be watching F1 next year as they are moving it to sky sports! Personally a lot of viewers will be cut know, but oh well! Highlights on bbc I guess!
  7. Some may say this is not a sensible idea, but I had a puncture on my landcruiser which was could not be repaired due to the location of it. There is a special gas, not sure what it is called but for £10 per tyre they fill up your tyre with this gas and it seals the hole. This worked for about 4-5, then I had to change the tyre. Worth a try?
  8. Cheers mate, I'm a bit worried about just fitting new sideskirts incase they sit alot lower than my front bumper. Probably best to fit the nismo style bumper just in case. There are many people who have the Nismo Bumper, I did at once and It sat lower by just a few mm, pretty much no real difference. The only thing is, being fibreglass it will not flew at all if you hit anything ect, it will just snap! But other than that it looks very good I think, well the Nismo V1 one.
  9. You have to remove the original one which is not a hard job at all and then put in the Nismo one. I dont think there is much of a difference in height at all, as well for the bumper.
  10. As much as it would be good, it would just mean that people would break that rule and go over 80 and properly do more to 90+ which will become dangerous. Before we can increase the limits on our roads, especially on the motorways I think people should learn how to drive properly and more appropriate on the road.
  11. Here I am selling a pair (2) 275 35 19" Bridestone Potenza'a RE050. The first one is pretty much brand new, was run for about 400 miles so has 7-8mm tread still on it, and those noberly bits on sides The second was on my car for about 1000 miles and has about 6mm tread on it. Both tyres are in excellent condition, with even wear, No Punctures, no Tyre Damage ect. I also have the drivers side Side skirt in Red which is in excellent condition, ready to fit. Contains all the clips, little to no stone chips, looks great. Looking for £48 excluding postage. Price wise, Im looking for £95 for the 7-8mm one, and £75 for the other one. Or if you would like both I can do them for £155 ono, collection best, but can arrange postage. Pictures PM me if you are intrested.
  12. I have one for sale, accidentally bought it thinking it will work for my 350z, but it was too small. PM me if you are intresred.

    Kumhos

Had Kuhmos on some of my other cars. They are a very good overall tyre, especially good on the wet, very underrated I think.
  14. Yep, on long drives it can get very very hot near the transmission tunnel. I take it its normal.
  15. Yes that is correct, you need to keep the same rolling diamter the same as possible and the difference between the front and rear diamter as well. Why dont you buy a set of wider wheels and get some wider tyres on them?
  16. How about a V8 Landcruiser, or a range rover...... more sort of proper 4x4 with a beast of a engine!
  17. Yep, with a auto when it is in park it is unable of moving. In fact, the only gear that it will move in with a auto will be Neutral.
  18. I would think it would be best to keep all of them the same, as you will get brake inbalance wont you? As in the front may bite more than the rear.
