God i used to spend half my life making mix tapes! I'd stay up until the early hours recording music onto tapes - in the days when you had to listen to the complete track while you were recording it!! I loved it though! I still have bags full of tapes from the 80's and early 90's!

:lol: Ditto Nix - oh mix tapes- the 80's love letter ;) they've all come out the closet now....... am thinking some very early electronica is required this weekend :blink:

I think the last cassette I ever bought myself was "Moseley Shoals" by OCS. Only got it on tape so I could play it on my Walkman as I didn't have a portable CD player at the time! :lol:

Ditto - me too well everyone did ! :blush: Some how it seemed more fun than making up CD's on the puter for the car (which of course the Zed would never play!!! :wacko: )

 

My loft still has most if not all of mine, used to play them in the Van before I replaced the radio cassette! Those BASF Chrome tapes still sound spot on today :lol:
