mac1984 Posted May 2, 2010 Share Posted May 2, 2010 Mine was sprayed with upholstery paint and not standard spray paint you can get from Halfords. I'll try and find the website I bought mine from. You will need 2 cans maybe 3 to be on the safe side. Using standard spray paint leaves a hard/crusty finish and sometimes is doesn't soak in and will flake off, which I've had before on a previous car. That looks much better, I really want mine done in alcantara I would love it in black alcantara too. We have a written off Aston Martin that I've got my eye on for its headlining. Do you have to treat the headlining before painting it and if so how long you let it soaking for? And finally........... A pillar (which pull off) Weather seal from each door and boot 4 poppers from near boot hatch and then it pulls down (4 clips in the sunglasses holder!)
