Mine was sprayed with upholstery paint and not standard spray paint you can get from Halfords. I'll try and find the website I bought mine from. You will need 2 cans maybe 3 to be on the safe side.

Using standard spray paint leaves a hard/crusty finish and sometimes is doesn't soak in and will flake off, which I've had before on a previous car.

That looks much better, I really want mine done in alcantara

I would love it in black alcantara too. We have a written off Aston Martin that I've got my eye on for its headlining.

Do you guys have a link for the paint you used?

Do you have to treat the headlining before painting it and if so how long you let it soaking for?

And finally........... Black looks good but how about a nice tone of white to make the cabin brighter?

( Got black leather seats and few CF bits )

Its easy to remove all the headlining.

A pillar (which pull off)

Weather seal from each door and boot

4 poppers from near boot hatch and then it pulls down (4 clips in the sunglasses holder!)

Has anyone ever thought about getting carbon laid over the roof lining?

any examples on other marques Rich ?

are we talking about carbon in its natural form or after its been hardened with a resin?

its alright hugh; just as intrigued as you?

i would have thought in its natural form it will become unwoven, and in its hardened form it wil be too hard to get back in the car?

am interested to see some pics of it done.

i know there are some imitation carbon fabrics which could do it with.
