He should just be able to use the design from the later grille? The tow eye mount is presumably in the same place. As you say Husky it's worth doing things properly. I for one would be much happier with a tow eye hole. The last thing you want to be doing if you break down is having to fiddle about removing the front grille.

ok finished at 4:10 drove home, parked up, got the grill and a screw driver out, put it on, came in made a cup of tea and now posting this.. that makes it about 10mins all in for fitting

impressed! That looks really good! I hate the front grille slats they always look dirty! I'd be on this list if I had some spare cash. Big improvement imo.
