martinmac Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 It may not be far from reality, I am not very lucky with my mods. Quote
martinmac Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 I suppose its a matter of getting it onto a dyno if it is still driveable when fitted. Only then will it be apparent if its working or not. Quote
Martin W Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 ............ if it is still driveable when fitted. .. confident then? Quote

martinmac Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 The guide on here is brilliant. Thats it all stripped out. Very tempted to finish it on my own but I think the sensible thing would be to wait until I have an expert on hand. Quote

Beavis Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Its in, the car is running, no warning lights. Just giving it some time to settle in and then its test run time I have to say Martin i am surprised Hope it goes well and gives you something extra Quote
martinmac Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 Bloody hell Just given it some beans on a local airfield. First the boring stuff. Everything works on the car. The imobiliser is fine. The stereo works etc etc, Now the fun stuff. I know its difficult to be objective but it takes off like a rocket. The power is still smooth but when I floored it in second I thought i was in the wrong car. SUCCESS Off to buy my mate a pint now Quote
P15UL T Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 WOW, good for you martin so i take it this will help make use of your intake kit and exhaust as it will have a different map programmed into it ? Quote
chriswillis Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Be very interested to hear on any power gains if you've got a dyno booked in??? Congrats on getting it to work! Quote
