Remind what the sizes and offsets were? Looks like you're lowered too - how much? Quote
Lexx Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Hmmmm Very different. Im with digsy, bit too VW for my liking, but look good on a black Zed! As I say again and again, its all about individuality! Quote
M13KYF Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 look nice and wide but look very heavy, what weight are they? tweaked your post so the images displayed automatically Quote
kashz Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 thease wheels are huge they are really wide they are 10.5 rear 19 and 9' at front 19'... they really look nice its something you wouldnt expect on a z especially in the uk .... its been lowerd but i dont know how much by the words were lower it as much as possible without it catching the tyres im gna get the arches rolled so i can lower it more ... Quote
kashz Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 i have no idea on weight but they not as heavy as they look ill try to find out.. thanks for the edit .. Quote
martinopy Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I'd never have picked them out for a 350 but I think they look really well on and they're very different to any other wheels i've seen on a z. Quote
kashz Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 im glad you like them you need to see them in reality to really see how wide the rims are and the camber looks really good .. Quote

I wouldn't lower it more. Not only does it look perfect as it is but IIRC lowering too much can cause all sorts of problems with camber etc. Make sure you've done your research if you do go ahead. I would suggest trawling the US forums as there are more slammed cars than in the UK. Quote
kashz Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 i'v been thinking air ride but havent had the guts yet to go that far all in good time the project has just started lol i was gna roll the arches so i can put a fat tyre on like a 255 40 19... Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Not really my taste in wheels, but it certainly looks wide and mean Quote
Rob_Quads Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Sorry - never really liked the whole stretched tyre look on the dub scene let along on a Z. The rims look very 'german' to me and don't really fit the jap car. I wouldn't like to go near any curbs with those on. Quote
kashz Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 Weds Kranze Bazreia ... each to there own opinions "they dont fit" i just orderd a big size "they look german" W.E.D.S based in japan made in japan... The look http://www.hincity.com/blogs/article.as ... 2KG6QNY%20 very japanesse japaneese cars shouldnt only have the one look to look fast you need to experiment with different flavours... Different occasions have different looks thats all im saying Quote
Sarnie Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Look better on the car but not anything I would choose Quote
Ian Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Not a fan of them but aslong as you like them thats all that matters Quote
RobD7 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 That side on shot in front of the factory makes it look like a Continental GT which is never a bad thing! Love the width, looks very and very Quote
Stew Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I think they look awesome. Really different. I'm glad you were brave and tryed something different. Quote
GIXXERUK Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 good to be different me likey +1 rear looks phat Quote
Ross Mac Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I like them - very different but they do suit the black Z Before the Z I was heavily into the VW scene where stretched tyres were all the rage. I like the look that they give but stay WELL away from any kerbs - I found that out in a bad way when my BBS connected particularly badly one day Well done for being a bit different! Quote
