Wheels 370z Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Took the plunge and had Cobra Cat back fitted on Thursday...... sounds superb. Car now covered in 7 inches of snow so unable to enjoy until who knows when. Quote
PPod Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Lucky, want some snow in Glasgow for some skidzzz still nothing yet Quote
LRF4N Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Where in Glasgow was the snow? Im in the south side where we usually get it worse than the rest of the city but nothing here today Quote
coyoteboy Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 There's no snow in Glasgow yet. But I drove the Z all last year through the winter, it was perfectly capable, I was amazed. Quote
LRF4N Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Sorry misread that I thought ppod said there was snow here Quote
Wheels 370z Posted December 9, 2017 Author Posted December 9, 2017 I'll send some up folks, got loads down in Shropshire!!!!!! Quote

Wheels 370z Posted December 10, 2017 Author Posted December 10, 2017 Snow or exhaust?? exhaust I'd under the snow so no can do. Had another 4 inch overnight (ooo-eeer missus!!) so about a foot deep now and snowing hard. Removing snow from softtop every hour or so to prevent any damage. Fingers crossed. Quote
Ekona Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Why would snow damage the softtop? I’m taking the Scoob out later to make pretend at doing rally skids Quote
andybp Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I'm just on my way out in the Z to play hopefully I come back smiling not crying Quote

I’m taking the Scoob out later to make pretend at doing rally skids Hi Ekona.... just concerned that the weight will maybe stretch the fabric a little...... if I'd have left it there'd be around a foot of snow sitting on it now . Ekona Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Ah, gotcha. Nah, nothing to worry about there imho as the steel supports in the roof will keep it taut, that said no need to risk it if it’s that bad so good call. Quote
Wheels 370z Posted December 11, 2017 Author Posted December 11, 2017 Thankfully looks like end of the white stuff...pic below tells u how much fell! Z going nowhere for at least 4 or 5 days. Quote
coldel Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Same here, just freezing rain - although we had a dusting yesterday. The wonders of the protective pollution shield put up across London that prevents snow Quote
AMT Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Really surprised Lanarkshire up here hasn't got any, we usually get it all especially where I am. All seems to be central UK....aka England ...muahahah. I hate snow so bad. Apparently temps picking up next week to like 4 or 5C etc May it hurry up. Getting plenty of ice though... Took these this morning lol I love how my drivers door always freezes every damn year and I have to jump in and out the passenger side. Water or something is getting into the lock. Happened in my last car before the Z too. Edited December 11, 2017 by AMT Quote
AMT Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) I had just switched it on lol Don't worry it goes back down, still doin' its 60 at 60 etc. Edited December 11, 2017 by AMT 1 Quote
fergie1471 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Playing in the snow is the reason im looking for a new alloy wheel Quote
