They look impressive with my main reservation surrounding the fitment/removal that requires all the air in the tyres to be let out and I'm wondering if the mini compressor you get these days (instead of a spare wheel) are up to the job of getting the tyre properly re-seated from zero pressure? If my worry is founded might be a breakdown call-out if a heavy duty compressor is not available......

Not a fan of those. They look very hard and angular, with a big unsightly join...

Yeah, they just tuck in. (Both Rimbands and Rim Ringz)

yes but no need for a re-balance

Cool...although my boss has spent hours waxing lyrically to me about the benefits of up selling wheel balancing on top of a service, but I think that's because it delivers high margin.

Correct, though I don't think most people would bother with a balance.
