Nope but a little more info in your thread wouldn't have gone astray. ;)

Google gave me this though: https://toughmudder.co.uk/events/2016-north-west

Good luck with it Olly ~ wear a GoPro if you have one as I'm sure it would make for some good footage. :D:thumbs:

I think it's one of those posts, if your doing it, you'll definitely know about it 😂 and if you don't, then your one of the lucky few.

And no go pro sadly, don't want to be worrying about it, although I do have a chest mount I could have used ...

I did it up at Cholmondely years ago.

It's good fun. They've dumbed it down for the masses in recent years though sadly.

My missus did it last year with zero training and there were folk just taking a 12 mike stroll and circumventing the obstacles.

Seems to have degenerated into a money making scheme these days.

Arctic Enema is still horrendous though!

Every run in winter is like Tough Mudder for me lol

Am doing a marathon this month though....hoping that doesn't turn into a muddy one!

P.S. Good luck!

I'm doing my first half marathon on the 25th of this month :scare::surrender:

good luck to all doing something stupid this month :blush:

Half marathon at your age??? ;)

Only joking, how's the training going? I did 18 miles today, pretty tough though in this heat...spent the rest of the day trying to rehydrate! Not convinced I have another 8.2 miles in me :(

I did it but I agree with a previous comment, its a big business these days charging far too much money. There are better events these days for less money, and frankly it wasn't as tough as I had imagined.

A couple of my GFs asked me to sponsor them for PRETTY MUDDER in Edinburgh. It appears to be a 5k jolly with a slight chance of getting your trainers a little dirty! Still if it gets people doing SOME EXERCISE and raising a bit for charity then I guess it's for the greater good!

How did the OP get on anyway??? Did he make it out alive.....

Haha, only JUST!! It was fun looking back, but won't be doing it again, I hate running, and I got left on my own because my friends were pretty much athletes (boo :( )

But as you can see my face (far right) I was knackered, never faced a harder challenge !!

But under different circumstances, I would have enjoyed it a lot more ! :D

Left on your own!

Isn't that specifically against the spirit of tough mudder!

It's not even a time event.

Yeah, sort of dampened my spirits, but I hate holding people back, so I just told them to go on, made friends along the way so 💠but definitely preparation before doing it again
