Guy Martin is so down to earth and genuine it's impossible not to enjoy his enthusiasm and at the Roger Moore house, his innocence to a large degree lol

Loved the program and dam yeah we need more like this 😎

I remember hearing about this event back in the late 80's, I was big into the American car scene and drag racing

A guy called R.J. Gottlieb (Ron) who was 19 at the time turned up in 1989 with the 1969 Camaro that he and his dad built in his garage and ran an AVERAGE of 197.99 he hit speeds of 220 mph in places!

Good read here

Love his stuff, made me laugh how he chose a transit van. And yeah clocked the TT 350z at the finish line, seemed to be the only non-US brand in sight.

All the Guy Martin stuff is great, you cant help but like the guy. His accent and personality puts an instant smile on my face.

^^ Without doubt, i bet there are a handful of people on here who also mount their numberplate there, anything in the way will cause some resistance, but its not really an issue on a 280hp road car :)
