Anyone used Alloygators?

Ive got a set which I haven't used for sale in silver up for £30 plus postage.

As I didn't fit them in the end I don't really have an opinion of how good they are but there are a couple of old threads about them:

I think they're a brilliant invention. Whenever I see a car with them on, I know that person can't drive for toffee so I make a conscientious effort to park my own car as far away as possible :D

Without them, how else would you know? Genius idea.

I heard that they can cause/accelerate corrosion because they trap water around the rim edge.

No evidence to back this up but the theory could stand up.

Ive seen quite a few bits of damage caused by magnetic signs on car paint (rusting/lacquer failure)

Hadn't even thought of this, valid point. Especially if they're cheaper wheels
