Anyone used Alloygators?

Interested to hear user reviews on these. Are they too obtrusive / obvious? Do they last more than a week? If you scuff the plastic how do you replace individual rims? Seem a little expensive at sixty odd quid for 4...

Ive got a set which I haven't used for sale in silver up for £30 plus postage.

I've got these on mine, can't even notice them right ? I can sent you th contact of the guys name, very cheap and easy to fit (even I can do it) come in all colours

I was "told" that they won't fit onto the 370 wheels due to the shape of the rim ........... it was a long time ago though

My mate uses them on his VW van, they don't look too bad but i wouldn't want them on my car. Better to just pay attention when parking IMHO

I think they're a brilliant invention. Whenever I see a car with them on, I know that person can't drive for toffee so I make a conscientious effort to park my own car as far away as possible

 

Without them, how else would you know? Genius idea.

I heard that they can cause/accelerate corrosion because they trap water around the rim edge.

 

No evidence to back this up but the theory could stand up.

 

Ive seen quite a few bits of damage caused by magnetic signs on car paint (rusting/lacquer failure)

Hadn't even thought of this, valid point. Especially if they're cheaper wheels
