brillomaster
Something more of interest to the oldies... bit of harmless fun for everyone else! A guy at work found this 'beauty' on ebay... a 1983 Peugeot 505 STI. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-505-STI-BARN-FIND-only-used-for-1-yr-when-new-then-stored-gen-7-000-mls-/361411512097?hash=item5425ce0721:g:nJoAAOSwT5tWI8SV this then lead to a lively debate on what it'll sell for - on the one hand, its a not particularly brilliant old Peugeot saloon, but on the other side its incredibly rare and only covered 7000 miles from new, so is practically fresh out the showroom. The guys in the office have a sweepstake going as to what it'll sell for - anyone on here care to make an educated guess? Closest to the right answer wins... the respect and admiration of their fellow forum peers?

Ekona
What I think it's worth and what it'll sell for are different things. It's already past the former...! Could go as high as £8K.
brillomaster
well knowing eBay's ability to skyrocket in the last hour of the sale, I've gone quite high - £7,600 I think I put. but frankly, I haven't the foggiest!

Rock_Steady
God, that fossil 505 was a car that once crashed into my car after some old crone didn't stop at a junction and ploughed into my near side twice ( don't ask). I'd say it's worth pushing off a cliff. Edited October 21, 2015 by Rock_Steady
