Wanted to introduce myself!

Reckon I've found my 350Z. Been googling and phoning around like a madman trying to get a decent insurance quote and finally reckon I have one I'm sort of happy with lol

Reckon it'll be Saturday I'll go pick up my new 350Z (it's new to me!)

So,...Hello!

There'll be a few mods I'll be looking to do so hopefully I'll be active on the forums and of course if there's anything I can help with I'll do my best and contribute to the site.

Cheers, guys!

Sort of happy with??

That doesn't sound promising at all! Don't buy it 'just because'. Go for the car that feels right for you.

That being said; welcome to the forum!

I'm referring to the insurance quote when I say "sort of happy with"

The 350Z I've wanted for a while so I can't wait to get the keys!!

welcome :)

have you spoken to the insurers on here?

and another tip you might see on these forums is to buy the insurance up front with a 0% credit card then pay the card off. most monthly instalments are just a loan agreement between you and the company you signed up to, and that involves interest.

I should probably give them a shout out. I contacted my old insurer Admiral and basically negotiated a deal with them.

They gave me their initial quote and I said "I had my Toyota Celica insured with you a few years back and rocked up 7 years no claims. So, I'll come back to you and most likely stay with you again if you'll beat every other quote I've had and do me a deal...don't beat it by £50. Beat it by a lot and I'll take it."

After chatting to a manager for about twenty minutes, I've saved myself £400 by negotiating with Admiral.

Got to appreciate when a company will bend & flex to make you happy. So, the premium is still a bit high at £830 but most other quotes were £400-£500 more than that so I suppose I'm happy.

:)
