i'd bracket instead of using 1 underexposed image. as you brighten the 1 underexposed, you will be creating grain in the dark areas. even shooting in raw, rule of thumb is to not go above 2 stops of exposure. Tripod and multiple shots is what i did for jays old photos.

be very wary of matt black, it can look mankey dirty all the time and i know how you love a shiny car! if your staying away from what paul's done, then i'd say make bonnet blade. there is/was (was when i lived there) a porsche around south side that is matt black, not that bit a fan of it.

Burberry? or rainbow coloured? I'd say keep bonnet black but get the bumper black to continue from the grill up and inline with the bonnet. will look like a thick racing stripe continuing over the roof and onto the spoiler. Or get it done in blade?

the iso being 800 will lead to more noise disortion dependant on what camera you are using. I went through a phase of HDR for a while, some may recognise this car, newer folk will only know the current style it has Jesus jay, do you remember those rims Major tip is do not over sharpen, as that is what will emphasise the grain appearing. One thing i will say for it, is enjoy your addiction, then you will get bored of HDR. It can work a lot better when done in a subtle matter. It really is a case of less is more. very little use of hdr So over all advice, lower the ISO, use less sharpening and finally, use less HDR to make the image more natural. Adam

the hotel are right, its not their responsibility. But give the local plod a call, report it as a hit and run due to the fact the person fled from the seen of the accident. Make it obvious to them, If they break it they buy it! even get them to just sign a bit of paper stating this. I personally wouldn't go to the hassle to arrange fully comp insurance on a car that i'm just going to see and if i like it give a deposit and return to pay rest and pick it up later. As unless its 100+ miles away and if i like it, i'll drive it home that day. I'd only let them out in a car if i was in the passenger seat and they knew the above rule. Also maybe you drive them to an industrial estate, or carpark. Gives them enough space to check they fit with the car. There is no need on a test drive to go hooning down country roads. Read a review of the car and check it can handle country roads, then test drive it to check you and the car feel comfortable together.

some advice for shooting the zed, get to know the car as at first glance, you will get lovely angles but if you spend time just walking around it, more angles will appear that are better than the obvious!

a caterham is quicker 0-60 than a lot of supercars but top speed is lacking. i'd class hyper cars as anything daft and capable of over 200mph some things i'd agree with "souped up" as the astra vxr (especially the ring version) is quick as fook same with the clio v6. reliability is also something to consider. I'd say tvr is a supercar over a sports car cause they are seen more in a garage being fixed than on the road.

As from a police officer friend, Undertaking is legal, may be a slight grey area depended on the officer you deal with. Their is no exact law on "undertaking" as above it is just the act of overtaking slower moving traffic. Similar to filtering on the motorbike. Be wary though, as above also stated. If you were to weave in and out of the traffic then you are more likely to be booked for dangerous driving, or driving without due care. It is all in the way you do it! be sensible, and you'll be fine. do it like a tit and be wary of the blue lights.

not sure in the boot, but i know you can fit spare wheels in the passenger side of an elise so i'm guessing you could do it that way in a zed as well!
