  4. Hi Stephen, saw your posts as well and will donate when payday comes round, felt like i'd be stepping on your toes posting this. its easter sunday 24th April. Cheers Irfan, need to take the costume back to the shop as the lovely assistant forgot to remove the saftey tag (can't break it off or it will fire ink onto the costume) once i get that done, will happily put up photos!

  6. Hi Everyone, i'm aware i don't post on here as much, been very busy since i moved down to middlesbrough. i thought i should post this up, as i'm still in touch with a few from the forum (and miss a few as well ) Its a longish story but if you read it, i think you'll understand why i'm coming out of the past to post it. My youngest neice (now over 1 year old) suffered an enlarged heart at 4months old. (now to fill in the rest in my sisters words) Lucy was rushed into Yorkhill Childrens hospital in Glasgow and immediatly put into a medicaly induced coma and put on a ventilator. She was pumped full of drugs to keep her heart going as they assessed the situation. At this point we were told that she was in the rule of thirds. A third of kids with this problem will make a full recovery, a third will survive but always require medical intervention and a third will die. we had no idea what group she was in but we hoped for the best and feared the worst. As a week and a half went by she got no better. After about a week of them being at her bedside and sleeping next door to the hospital. We got a phone call in our room at 5am telling us Lucy's heart had gone into a strange rhythm. i have never run so fast in my entire life. we were back by her side in 3 minutes. So to cut a long and very painfull story short, she crashed and even with all the heart recussitation drugs her heart couldn't support her. She was immediately put on the ECMO machine which is a heart lung bipass. Basically taking over the job of both her heart and lungs. The ventilator was still used but this was only to keep her lungs from closing up entirely. At this point lucy was put on the emergency transplant list. So as the days went by again we were told her chances were getting slimmer. she then developed an infection from her stomach and got septicemia (blood poisoning) as a result. Her left lung then collapsed and her kidneys failed. Her stomach then bloated so badly due to the infection that she was now at risk of having a ruptured bowel. Sitting by and watching my darling little child slowly getting worse infront of my eyes is the most heart breaking things i have ever had to endure. We were watching as her hopes were slowely slipping away. Since then Lucy has recieved a heart transplant along with a pacemaker and Tracheotomy, She is back in Glasgow and is living a life that 8months ago seemed impossible. Everything is still not perfect and she has a lot to go through. More can be seen at a facebook group my sister set up: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/gro ... 4639209677 All i can ask is Please Please Please donate to help allow Yorkhill to continue to provide the support that helped keep our family from loosing Lucy. For this Event, i will be traveling from my flat in middlesbrough dressed as Tigger and i'll ride my bike like this all the way to Glasgow, then will happily put on the outfit and take to the streets for the Easter Egg Run. For the Main run, my dad will be dressing up as Winnie the Pooh. If i can raise £700 on here, my work, will match it. This will give Yorkhill a whopping £1400 so Please click that button and make this happen! if you want to read more, type into google "daily record Lucy Smith" I see others are doing charity stuff and i don't want to stand on their toes but its something thats close to my heart and i want to do the best for them. so please, http://www.justgiving.com/forlucysheart Thank you, Adam
  7. Congrats mate, kat and i are happy for you! just pray she doesn't loose it!
  8. Probably will have seen you at some point, i constantly see them, i know there is one who is owned by a guy at my Gf's work (castlegate quay sailing centre) but he seems disinterested in cars!
  9. Saw Rob's lovely orange one on the a66 (also at cineworld) saw a lovely red with number plate 0000 *** can't remember the bit i starred out, in stockton. a few gm's and blades
  10. Speak to Andrew walsh at Car limits, highly recommended by racing drivers in the time attack series and lotus cup along with others i'm just waiting to have a worthwhile car before visiting him http://www.carlimits.com/
  11. 3 of my pictures are in there! So i made it onto the wall in a different way!
  12. zmanalex's car used to spit lovely flames on track. my motorbike spits flame when i'm sitting high up in the revs. Thats down to the fuelling being slightly off so it over fuels and unburnt bits get to the exhaust which is hot and pop crackle flames think a few on the dukes pass run last year saw them!
  13. came across one of these before, i agree with rich, think its a hornet
  14. will they reduce the amount of tax we pay then? since its not going towards health care? and that we need to pay ourself? Nah doubt it. Off to look at a visa for canada then
  15. I think i read in evo mag that there are 2 kinds of v6 clio drivers, 1. they have spun and hit something 2. they have spun and not hit anything due to the minimal lock on them and the short wheel base once you loose traction on the back, unless you are a very competent technical driver the back will overtake the front. Is it just a play thing you want? or something to cruise about in? are you wanting to invest in it and then maybe make money back at a later date? If your looking to make money back on what you buy, then i'd say the clio, they are rare on the roads as it is, and with the spin factor there will be less and less leading to better residuals. As Above, just go to some dealerships and test drive, no one on here can tell you which you'll prefer, i know people who have had a v6 clio and hated it, and some who loved it, same with the 350z.
  16. you want us to put comments on it (nice ones of course?) watched and was 216 when i saw, will probably check it on my other computer and gf's laptop.
  17. Ally from 360 complete detailing totally recommend him, have sent other 350z's to him before plus lambos, ferrari's and so on, just look at his website. Tell him Adam of Arphotographs sent you.
  18. i think detailing is exactly what is in its name, going into the details such as removing swirls and paint imperfections to make it perfect, working on the grill and other small minute parts. Not just cleaning the wheels but taking the wheels off, cleaning them fully plus the wheel arch. Pretty much Detailing is, its all in the minute details being given as much attention as the rest of the car. When i clean the car or the bike, i give it a "wash" or a "clean" would think i could do a good enough job to call it detailing.
  19. Well hopefully we will see you then, Kat will be there ready to go out pax! We will be up north on the saturday so track scotland will be quite quiet without the SE'rs. You've got my number give me a text if your likely to be going!
  20. Does this mean you are coming to play on friday? ahh well without jobs like that on your car, you'd be bored.
  21. ahh but how big is your overdraft? that could assist you? looks lovely, enjoy it!
  22. if i had the money i'd buy it but sadly for you i'm skint. surprised its not been snapped up sooner! come on folk chop chop!!
  23. Sounds like the Stig ........... he drives like him as well, and used to make his car spit flames on long straights just cause he was that bored at 170mph
  24. or any woman he has taken round knockhill who hasn't come out with crazy messy hair. Its cause he uses the layby round the back to make sure they "enjoy" the lap. top bloke
