  1. sounds good bud, you'll need to stop by the flat so i can see/hear in flesh!
  2. Or however you spell the parks name, you were waiting at the lights in a lovely que, was going other way and spotted you, gave a wave but you blatantly ignored me (in the astra that you have never seen)
  3. cheers guys, pretty much summed up what i was thinking! will keep looking at older ones as well.
  4. Well after 2 years in Middlesbrough Kat and i are moving back up to Glasgow, sadly due to time restraints we have to move in with the inlaws till we find a house. (She just finished uni, and i'm starting a new job on the 13th june, also house searching from 200miles away isn't easy) We are first time buyers and are stuck in what to do, we like the style of new builds, also the 10 year nhbc that comes with them... but, i know that new builds are smaller than older houses and can still have lots of problems. Kats mum keeps saying to get a new build as will have less problems and has the guarantee on the works, although i like the idea of a newbuild i can't help but think, for the same money you could maybe get an older house with more space (but then likelyhood of more problems with no building guarantee?) So just as a simple question, for a first time buyer, what do you think is the better idea? New build or Older? Cheers Adam p.s looking forward to being able to nip out to dukes pass
  5. bullshit, i bet he is still alive and well and living in Pollokshields in Glasgow! Unless they show evidence of him dead, i'm sticking with my thoughts!
  6. Cheers mate, nope, correct way round and has been for past 7k miles lol, left my bike up at my parents as won't be long till moving back up the road.
  7. Ohh and a picture of who all this hard work was for, My youngest niece Lucy!
  8. Just to let those interest know, Run went brilliantly, just giving is currently on: £1314 then gift aid and works £700, belive my dad also has about a further £200 to collect, so all together really proud! and for those wanting photographic proof! That one was in the Evening times on monday! And finally us taking part in the Cha cha slide, Oldest niece can be seen to the right of the picture with my mrs! Cheers for the donation guys, Really appreciate it!
  9. Nice photos! Irfan you are getting quite handy with the camera since i've been gone. I would agree the ones you need to tilt your head for are a bit more than "artistic" angles haha. I'd be wary as well on some you can see irfans reflection in them. I'll be up the road this weekend for my charity motorbike run, could bring the camera gear up if you want? Get you a few more to put in with irfans!
  10. agree, loud can saves lives! when commuting around Glasgow i used to find myself not being noticed, then put loud can on and bingo everyone hears you comming, then i took hacksaw too it and chopped 6inches off it, now i can be heard before i am see, and the v twin growl is sexy!
  11. mine is the newer pointy version. To the person who said they got bored, how do you ride? as 4 years on i'm slowly going off it but in those 4 years i've done lots of miles of scotlands roads, long weekend trips. have happily kept up with a 999 until i noticed we were entering corners at about 90tuts and i thought hmm maybe not safest idea. also on private roads it will happily wheelie off the throttle. Oh and very easy to get airbourne!
  12. Sv650s! I've had mine 4 years and have only started to just get a bit bored of it and feeling like moving up to something bigger. Cost £2600 and could probably sell it now for £2500 as they don't drop value, the v-twin engine through a lovely exhaust is just sexy (as the folk on the original dukes pass run) i'm 22 and mine insured in @*!# postcode (middlesbrough) is £190 tpft (yeah 4 years riding with 4year ncb) but still shouldn't be too hight for you! any other questions pm me, and as you know i'll be in Glasgow over easter, feel free to pop to the egg run and walk about the bikes and have a chat!
  13. a wee bump to remind those who have said they would donate haven't yet. I'd do cake sales and stuff but work have a annual charity so they have one at least once a month for them! Got a few other plans in mind, such auctioning off some photos/photography sessions. Come on Guys, i'm soo close to target!
  14. i've been given a tip for "silver by nature" so chucked a few quid at it.

  16. You know, this ain't no 10-second race.
  17. Why would I replace it when its quicker in a 1/4 mile and also dont need to worry about crunchy gears? cause life isn't a 1/4 mile!
  18. everyone has mentioned the alloys but no one seems to have mentioned new tyres on the new alloys! also looks like its dirtier!
  19. when are you going to replace the auto box with a real mans manual? get it on track!
  20. Looks good mate, look forward to seeing it at Easter!
  21. My dad has now booked his outfit, but being a daft dad he didn't get a photo of him wearing it for me to post. Thanks for pushing me to up my target as i'm at £699 just now! Roll on the £1k
