Know what you're saying but I learned my lesson the hard way on my last Zed - the Ings skirts I had were a nightmare when it came to multi storey car parks and also putting the car up on a ramp. The tein coilovers mean this Zed sits on the floor as is - so for the moment I'm going for function over asthethics.

Just back from the bodyshop with a new Amuse (Shine copy) front bumper and CF overlay on roof and CF rear diffuser along with a few other bits and bobs - gone for a more "track" look than the Nismo V2 front spoiler & LMGT's I had on previously. Makes the Range Rover Sport look like an elephant -

This is weird, why dont I meet such nice copers?

That video shows Ireland in a very bad light. Scumbag thinks he's smart by not giving out his details and using his supposed stupidity to get him off the hook. Gardai (Police) can see he is recording (one mentions it to the other) and they take the softly-softly approach. If it was the US they'd have pulled him from the car and tazered him after 30secs. -
The spacers you are showing look like universal type spacers that likely require (depending on spacer thickness) longer wheel studs. Ideally you should use a "motorsport" type spacer that bolts to the hub (countersunk bolts) and then attaches to the rim with separate bolts like the ones I have for sale (cheeky plug) - viewtopic.php?f=32&t=38761

They weren't when I put up my post. You need to be quick around here to get Nismo LMGT's at a good price though they will hold their value like no other rim if you can keep them in good nick.

Rims now sold to Lev. Looking forward to seeing the pics on your car. So just spacers and lug nuts left. -
Nismo LMGT's/20mm Kics spacers/Ultralite lug nuts
Steady Zeddy replied to Steady Zeddy's topic in For Sale
Yes - no problems there - would actually really suit the standard Rays and even standard Nissan rims as the normal offsets are so crap and sit so far inside the arch. Much improved stance with these spacers. -
See my for sale thread on my genuine LMGT's here - viewtopic.php?f=32&t=38761 Might make financial sense to you if you factor in the cost of tyres.

I'm going in a different direction with styling (going for more of a track look) and I'm selling my 19 inch Nismo LMGT's. Also selling Project Kics 20mm spacers and Ultralite lug nuts. Rims: 275/35 R19 rears - 70-80% on the Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. 245/35 R19 fronts - 50-60% on the F1 eagle tyres but with some chamfering on the edges. All rims in excellent condition apart from a very slight mark on the nearside rim (pictured circled in red). I will provide brand new stainless steel lug nuts if the Ultralite lug nuts aren't wanted. Aluminum Lightweight Wheel Spacers by Kics Project, Japan-Does not require changing of longer studs, these spacers come with studs on itself. Excellent quality 20mm spacers. Ultralite Titan Internal Hex Short Lug Nuts (20 in total) - Super light weight lug nuts from Ultralite Wheels - reduce unsprung weight. Internal Hex fitting ideal for wheels with drilled fixing holes. Also keeps the wheel brace away from the wheel surface and they look the dogs danglies. 4 of these have different sized internal hex measurements to be used as locking nuts. Rear wheels Front wheels Tyres Only issue with rim is this small mark on nearside front rim and tyre from a blinkin pothole (Tyre & rim structurally perfect). Spacers and Lug nuts LMGT's on my Zed Priced at 1450GBP + 80GBP shipping for the Rims and tyres. (shipped and tracked from Ireland wrapped on a pallet). Spacers priced at 120GBP + shipping. (100GBP no shipping charge if combining with rims). Lug Nuts priced at 50GBP + shipping. (40GBP no shipping charge if combining with rims).

Heres my latest dyno for my SC Zed. Vortech + 550cc injectors + Utec + Walbro pump + APS tall boy plenum + APS oil pan + decats + jwt clutch & flywheel + true dual Invidia exhaust + Kaaz LSD.

Even if it was a Renault engine - what about it. Renault have brought out some fine engines themselves and I seem to remember them winning an F1 championship or two with their own engines - surely thats as good if not better pedigree than Nissan?

+1 - whats the story?
-
I think it looks well and theres def a niche there for it - my biggest issue is why are LR using Victoria Beckham to market this car/SUV? It would actually put me off buying one.
-
Would make a good foil for the Zed. I run a Range Rover Sport as well as the Zed and tbh it gets a LOT more use than the Zed as its just so easy to drive - great visibility,v comfortable with heaps of room,no worry re potholes, crap roads and speed ramps, goes absolutely anywhere. Doesn't compare to the Zed for when you want to enjoy the drive/go for a blast etc but i guess its horses for courses.

I have a set of 19inch LMGT's coming off the Zed in the next couple of weeks - going a different direction with the styling. Based in Ireland though so shipping them to the UK would cost me I'd imagine.
-
If you are looking for a better set of rims I'll have a set of 19 inch Nismo LMGTs with F1 eagles coming off my Zed shortly. Can deliver to Dublin too as I'm there most weeks.

A rear offset of ET12 will def rub on the arch. I have a set of Rotas I use for trackdays (et18) and they rubbed on the rear arch (lowered on Tein coilovers) before getting the arches rolled. My mate has a set of Rotas with an ET12 on the rear (OE suspension) and they rub a LOT.

Great stuff - I'd get it on a dyno to check the tune asap if I were you though and I'd love to see the figures to compare to my own.
-
AFAIK - the engine check light for the coil packs will give you the number coilpack that is having the issue? Its not a difficult job to change on the Zed in any case.
-
TBH as I wasn't involved with the initial set-up of the SC (ex Spills/Dave car) I can't comment too much on any initial issues that there was with the SC set-up. It was a UK Zed with Vortech SC - 550cc injectors/uprated fuel pump and FRP, APS manifold and APS high capacity oil sump, hi flow cats, true dual invidia, colder plugs, Unichip etc. When Dave added the Utec in place of the Unichip he also had to plumb a Map sensor into the boost lines - this made for a much better tune though tbh it still runs quite rich on start-up which I believe has lead to a couple of recent problems where I've seen check lights relating to throttle body and O2 sensors (sorted rather easily though). It was also noticed that the belt was slipping approaching WOT so two additional idler pulleys were installed to eliminate belt slip. A fuel return system in conjunction with a rising rate FPR would probably be a nice to have with the Vortech but its not essential IMHO for my spec SC zed with the above mods and a good tune. I asked earlier in the thread if you had also bought a map sensor with the UTEC - this would offer much more precise fuel control to the injectors.
-
Same Zed - a mate of mine (Dave) had this Zed previously and fitted the Utec (replacing the Unichip) in Couture Auto. Back on Topic for Mr Nurrish - did you get a map sensor with your UTEC?
-
Nope - same Zed I'd imagine - mine is only SC Zed in Ireland. Saw your comment on my youtube video recently - perhaps you didn't put two and two together?
-
AFAIK - the US sourced UTEC on my UK Zed with a Vortech SC works just fine.
-
Yip - spot on. For anyone coming to the upcoming Ireland meet - we could swing by that way on a drive through the Burren - some great roads around there.
