  2. Hi mate, whats the plan with these bad boys in terms of payment and delivery? Thanks very much Steve
  3. Hi mate I just use it for itunes moving music onto and off of my Iphone and the net. Thats it. Occasionally it might get the power sapping use of an Excel spreadsheet too. Cheers
  4. Love it, wish mine looked like that. swapsies??? Where is the diffuser from mate? I just got some N1 spats but maybe they will be going in the bin...... Cheers Steve
  5. If you have just posted it you need to wait for it to be approved by a mod before it appears on the forum
  6. Thanks folks. I ran the malware scanner and found 60 malware/spyware items. I removed them all and now the computer shuts down I've also disabled the auto restart as identified by Beavis. Thank you for the step by step guide Thanks again Steve PS Happy New Year!!!
  7. Thanks Dave if the Spyware thing doesn't work I'll give that a go, yes the Vista CD is knocking around somewhere......hmm where did I put it....
  8. Thanks mate I'll give that a go now.
  9. Yes Martin I would agree I'm thinking a few of us have started a little early Thanks for the suggestion Zugara already done that, no faults found. Cheers
  10. Do we have any IT gurus on here that might be able to help me? Basically for no apparent reason I can no longer shutdown my laptop...... If I choose shutdown from the start menu it shuts down, then restarts itself. If I choose restart it restarts itself (as you would expect) If I hold the power key until the computer turns off, it goes off then restarts itself...... I don't know why this has started I've not installed anything new not even any windows updates. I've done a virus scan using latest definitions and nothing has been located. I've run scan disk on the harddrive (the 5 step one that checks all the clusters etc) no issues found yet it still won't turn off... Its a Dell Studio 1737 running an official copy of Vista.... any ideas folks? Many thanks in advance... Steve
  11. As promised hereis what I bought. I already have a Karcher K200 (think its the 220) pressure washer So I bought this snowfoam lance from with the Karcher attachment: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/foam-lance-various-fittings/prod_371.html It feels like its good quality got some weight to it, all brass body with a Nickel pipe and plastic / brass fittings. The lance that arrived is lightly different to the pic on the website: I also bought this snowfoam http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/super-snow-foam-5-litre/prod_370.html Coat one when I didn't have the foam valve open enough hence a little thin, coat two was much better
  12. A similar thing happened to me on a country lane the other night.... A 4x4 was avoiding a snow mound and forced me over to what looked like a grass verge covered in shrubbs, it turned out a nice kerb was hidden in the shrubs so the NSF wheel went crunch.... Its knocked the alignment out very slightly luckily I never got round to refurbing the wheel in the summer so it's some additional damage to fix when the weather gets better and a trip to the 4 wheel laser alignment centre......again Good luck getting yours sorted mate!!!
  13. Must say love the snowfoam!!! Apart from the car lookngvbrilliant when it's covered in the foam and a few passers by looking in wonder the snowfoam is a brilliant prewash. It gets rid of all the surface grime before you attack it with the wash mitt so it actually saves a fair bit of time because the snowfoam removes the majority of the dirt. It's pretty easy to use. I'll post up some pics and links of the stuff I bought later on. Only thing is to ensure you give it a really good rinse to get rid of any residue.
  14. Well seen as its not -10 and my snowfoam stuff has arrived today I think it would be rude not to wash the car First go with the snowfoam so we'll see how I get on. Steve
  15. Thanks very much mate! Cheers Steve
  16. Hi Folks, I'm wondering if someone can help me, I'm trying to put together an oil cooler kit for next years track season. I would prefer it if I could find a full kit for reasonable money but don't mind piecing one together. However I'm really struggling to find a thermostatic sandwich plate for the 350z maybe I'm being a bit stupid ...... Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent suitable thermostatic sandwich plate? Many thanks in advance, Steve
  17. Really like those skirts, totally change the profile of the car. Do you happen to know which ones they are? I want some!
  18. The sound really is worth the cash well in my opinion. I have the popcharger and love it.
  19. Brake runoff? never heard that terminology before. Is that another way of saying brake runout? Or something completely different? My EBC bits are still all good, still no problems even after 4 trackdays. Rear disks are getting changed soon though due to a wheel bearing failure that I didn't notice damaging the disk. Probably going to get Tarox rears just to be a bit different but I would happily buy EBC again. Cheers Steve
  20. Cool thanks for the update mate
  21. I completely agree with everything you say there! If more people would let other people out the traffic jams wouldn't be half as long. Its not hard FFS!
  22. +1 - big difference between the bi-xenon and normal xenon lights. It should look like that pic though I always wondered what the diff between the post and pre 06 lights was apart from the trim colours.... cheers
  23. Wheel Chock fo sho. But the thought of a dwarf skate ramp
  24. I went for the D47 in the end but the E23 would fit there is loads of room. The battery is a bit of a pain to change due to the clips and on mine the short securing hook broke during removal so had to come up with a bodge. However all in now, no more issues starting in the morning even today at -8. Thanks folks. Steve
