    X or H pipe?

Looks like I'm wrong, I thought an X pipe didnt join but apparently they do Copied and pasted from elsewhere: With an H-Pipe high and low pressure pulses from the left bank will combine and become friendly with the other bank. The low pressure pulses on one bank draw high-pressure pulses from the other, called quasi-static scavenging. Makes more torque (than no crossover pipe at all), and smooths things out acoustically. The X-Pipe though, does exactly what the H-Pipe does but better, different. Instead of letting pressure pulses go back and forth across the H the x-pipe makes sure the gasses from each bank ALL get very intimate together causing dynamic scavenging.. Thats why it sounds so different. Its smoother too, since the energy from bank-to-bank pressure fluctuations are used more effectively to scavenge the gasses. Less wasted energy means less sound, but more power. Readers digest: For deeper exhaust tone, sound -- H Pipe For performance -- X Pipe
  12. Very nice apart from that bulbous plastic grille

    X or H pipe?

Dont think it makes a difference mate, I think you may need a ][ shaped pipe to get it to fit but even with an X pipe, the pipes dont actually join
  14. Awesome Jerry, well done with the business mate
  15. We've been here before Stock setup is the same as what I have, I just have one free flowing pipe & 1 small free flowing back box as opposed to having one big ass box which doesn't flow as well Not to mention the weight saving And the sound, the glorious sound +1, the stock setup isn't a true dual so is single pipe at the Y to mid pipe. I've got a true dual though so mines better! (even if it does rust after a few weeks )
  16. Awesome results mate! Did Abbey have to do much mechanical work or was it all tuning?

  24. it was like that when i bought the car, its a slight buckle right on the edge of the lip. its never leaked, and runs fine. when i had them refurbished they did try to straighten it but they couldnt get it completely back to round. not actually noticeable normally but the close up pic makes it more evident
  25. Rich, might just be me but the wheel looks buckled at 10oclock, even the tyre seems slightly squared Hope its just the photos mate
