Just drop me a PM if I can help further.
Hi Jon,
25mm spacers are required on the front to clear the Brembos and to fill the arch and to create the perfect stance so don't let that put you off, as they look absolutely stunning. Most 350Z owners run spacers.
Same/next day shipping with tracking and insurance is £50.00.
Alex.
As what already has been said, however it may be a battle or it may not.
Speak to the bodyshop manager in a calm and civilised manner and walk him round the car pointing out all the unacceptable issues and get him to agree to fix it to your complete satisfaction.
They do not like having to do a job twice, however they even more dislike having to do it a 3rd time so politely make your point crystal clear.
If you are still not happy with the 2nd remedial repair, just leave the car with them until it is repaired to your satisfaction.
The problem with insurance recommended repairers is that they do the work at a reduced rate and some shops no longer find it viable to do insurance work.
One thing worth noting is that originally you did not have to go to the insurance recommended repairer as you are free to obtain estimates from others and choose which one you are comfortable with to carry out the work.
Only £100.00 mate, for preowned and circa £400.00 for new. however it is an unnecessary expense, as like I said previously it serves very little purpose so my advice would be just to remove it.
However happy to take your cash if you wish to proceed with the purchase route.
25mm spacers are required on the front to clear the Brembos and to fill the arch and to create the perfect stance so don't let that put you off, as they look absolutely great. Most 350Z owners run spacers.
The rear cross panel serves little purpose except to trap dirt and moisture and is not structural.
Most just remove it, and run without it, which is quite easy to remove as it will just crumble into pieces on removal..
if you do prefer to replace I have them in stock and it is not nearly such a big job as you describe in your post and can easily be done in 2 hours.
The "W" bracing and kidney brackets are also prone to rust but these are structural and will be an MOT failure.
These are also in stock if required.
