  1. Inefficient cat means that the cat is not working properly and will probably be an MOT failure if the emmissions are wrong. I have a couple of pairs of decats if you are interested, but they will not pass an MOT either
  2. If the code is 430 then that points to a innefficient L/H cat. Replacing the cat should/may solve your problem. I have preowned OEM cats in stock available with new gaskets. Best to get a professional diagnoses carried out on Consult 2 to pin point your issue.
  3. 430 is L/H cat. You would be best to pull the codes again as your fitment of the JWT P/C today may have triggerred a different fault with a different code.
  4. Looking real good Dave Fits like a glove
  5. I have got preowned front and rears in stock Craig. Alex.
  6. I have these in stock Drop me a pm if I can help you further. Alex.
  7. Intelligent Power Distribution Module
  8. Best to get a second or third diagnoses and quotation on this one Will. I should have all the parts (preowned) that you require (depending on your model) if you actually do require an IPDM. Where are you based mate.? Drop me a pm if I can help you further. Alex.
  9. Welcome to the forum. There are a few members in the Dundee area and even more in Aberdeen/Shire I am in the Perth area so you are not short of local fellow members. Alex.

    Brake Judder

You would have to remove the rotors to inspect for foreign bodies so carry out the rebedding procedure first, to burn off any pad deposits that you have put there with sitting with your foot on the brake when pads are hot.

Sounds like you have pad deposit on your rotor Craig. These pad footprints could well be the cause of your issues. Give them another good bed in on a quiet open road. Failing that there may be a foreign body got in between the hub face and the rear of the rotor at install. It does not take much, a small sliver of rust particle has been known to cause this. Failing that, throw the EBC rotors in the bin and fit Performance Friction.
  16. I have Eibach hubcentric spacers in stock in 20mm and 25mm. If it is quality that you are after then it has got to be Eibach everytime. Good to go same/next day. Alex.
  17. Evening Alex, thanks for the quick reply...I didn't have time to get the wheels off etc today so I just whipped the three screw out the centre console and used a 10mm ratchet spanner to tighten the cable. She feels a lot better but time will tell I guess. Regards Alex Buy yourself a deep 10mm socket for next time and adjust through the ashtray aperture.
  18. I have these available Craig. Drop me a pm if I can help you further. Alex.
  19. If adjusted up properly then it should just sneak past its MOT . As you know Dave the handbrake is characteristically very poor on the Z and does not inspire much confidence.
  20. Best to let off the cable, adjust up the drums and then readjust the cable. A quick tighten up of the cable will not cause any harm but to get the best from your handbrake the drums should be adjusted first. Alex.
