  1. No bearing puller or shallow socket required mate. Wheel off. Caliper bolts out and swing caliper to side and support. Rotor off. Hub bolts partially off. Dislodge tight hub by tapping on bolt heads. Remove hub bolts Remove hub. Make sure all faces are clean for assembly, especially the inside face of the rotor. Alex
  2. The oil light is coming on because you will be low on engine oil. A set of pads should fix at least one of your other issues. Alex.
  3. No press required Chris as you are replacing the complete hub. It is a DIY providing you are handy with the tools. The old hub can be a bit tight in the upright but otherwise straight forward. Alex.
  4. Hi and to the forum Adam

  9. Hi mate, I think that CS does EBC pads for you application, failing that then Apec also manufacture a budget brand for JDM Both the above are budget brands, however they will do a job if you are stuck. Alex.
  10. Black car + black hoses + black exterior door handles = Black car + red hoses + red exterior door handles = Fail Same for Green, Purple or Blue etc.etc. Alex.
  11. I wouldnt actually go to the garage, heard a few horror stories with them. Just my opinion tho +1. I had Mark from The Garage on the phone recently and to be perfectly honest I was appalled by his attitude and his bully boy tactics. This was all over poor quality workmanship that they had administerd to a job that I was connected to. So unfortunately I can no longer recommend The Garage. AVOID Alex.
  12. Sometimes they can be a bit tight mate. After you have removed the nut then you may have to insert a large lever above the bush to get the compression rod to drop. Alex.
  13. Im no mechanic , mate, but could that explain, or have anything to do with, the cars slight reluctance to go into 2nd gear? Btw if any of these things turn out to be serious, im gonna be extremely pi**ed at the AA, who check the car "from top to bottom" 3 weeks ago No, difficult 2nd gear selection from cold is a characteristic of the early transmissions I am afraid. A fluid change with some DC Moly should help Alex.
  14. The unrhythmical noise that you are hearing may be the OEM dual mass flywheel. Alex.
  15. Hi and welcome to the forum. Firstly do not use 95 . Secondly the 350Z is not the most frugal of cars. Best to do a proper fuel consumption test and work out exactly how much your are getting to the gallon. Alex.
  16. Hi and welcome to the forum

  18. I would recommend the Ferodo DS2500, however these will do the job Chris viewtopic.php?f=157&t=55106 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=55107 Also best not to refit the OEM rubber hoses viewtopic.php?f=157&t=49449
  19. No need to disconnect the battery terminal. Best also not to drain the fluid as you may get an air lock which might be difficult to get rid of as a DIY project. Alex.
  20. Cheers mate OEM/Stock clutch bearings in stock. After market bearings also in stock for uprated clutch kits.
  21. By your description your clutch is slipping and the clutch cover is failing which is giving you the heavy clutch. The clutch pedal sticking down is a sure sign the the slave and fluid requires changing. The slaves are £80.00 for the VQ35DE and are also a stock item. Alex.
  22. Hi and welcome to the forum.
  23. Sam, I have the Genuine Nissan fluids and the additives in stock and good to go same/next day Drop me a PM if I can help you further Alex.
  24. In stock and good to go same/next day. PM received and replied to Alex.
  25. Best to stick with the Exedy clutch kit and Fidanza or OEM flywheels. I can supply all other makes and brands but the Exedy is the way to go. By your description I think that you may require a slave cyl as well mate. I have all the above in stock for the VQ35DE and the later HR models. The Exedy clutch kit and fly options will cost circa £600.00 for the DE. Drop me a PM if I can help you further and if you have any technical questions then just let me know and I will talk them through with you. Alex
