That is the rev up engine and the main difference is that it has both inlet and exhaust variable valve timing. They are also known to use a bit of oil as well. Alex.

Your issue may be down to cold weather conditions. Run your engine for about 30mins with the heater full on to generate plenty heat in the cabin and then try again. Alex.

You may have to swop out the clutch master mate, however I suspect that there may be still some air in the system and would be worth another bleed before you splash the cash on a new master. Alex.

There is no easy way, and my preferred way is to remove the complete engine. All HR engine parts are in stock including valves etc. I also have complete cyl. heads with valves, buckets, cams etc which are ready just to drop on to the block I also have complete HR engines in stock and I can take your damaged engine back and give you an allowance..
