Remember that you can upgrade the CSC which should permanently fix your issues.

If the CSC has failed then the fluid will eventually leak out from between the engine and gearbox bell housing. I would also check the master cyl. for leaks, however my money is on the CSC. You don't say the year or mileage of your car: So perhaps a warranty claim ? The gearbox has to come out to replace the CSC so worth considering swopping out the clutch and fly when you are in there.

More than likely the slave, however there should be traces of fluid leak.

Yes, sounds like a plan, get the arches rolled and get the wheels on the car and take it from there.

I will say thats the usual assumption regards chinese parts... however, i did discover a few years back that it was possible to buy everything you needed for a Skyline direcr from China and it was the exact same parts the UK dealers were selling here for more than three, sometimes five times the cost ! I have messaged my mate who used to import it all but he is in Canada at present in the mountains training so may be a while before i get any responce. But he worked out through his chinese gf where to buy quality and where to avoid the real chinese crap stuff :-) Not saying all Chinese stuff is tat, just most including the coil overs that you are considering.

Best not to leave in for 20 secs. I find that from cold just remove dip stick, give it a wipe, pop it back in again and pull out immediately. From what you are saying, sounds like it may be over filled. So, may be a plan to change the oil and filter and just put in the recommended amount for your model to take it up to the max. mark.

You do know that you have to wipe the dipstick clean with a rag before you will get a clear reading. From cold you should only have to do this a few times.

Checking from cold on a level surface is the only way to go to get a proper clear reading.

The seat adjustment switches are there. With that colour of leather seats, shift knob and hand brake lever, you usually get the same on the steering wheel, don't you. When I got my Roadster in 2005 I never got a seat option, that is not to say that there wasn't one. However with that sort of mileage I would assume that the seats have had a retrim as they appear to be in pretty good shape.

Just buy enough to take it to the top mark on the dipstick. I can't be more accurate than that as you do not say where the oil level is on the dip stick at present. If you have to put in 5 litres than I sincerely hope that you have very good warranty.

Welcome to the forum, why don't you put up a post and introduce your self properly. In answer to your question, "Is this a good buy " ? Well that will depend on how much you pay for it. Factor in £850.00 for a new roof and £500.00 for a wheel refurb (diamond cut) And perhaps a grand as a contingency plan due to the mileage. Also best to pull the codes to check out the EML light, in case it is something more sinister than the cats (before you hand over your cash.)

Not worth the risk IMHO so best to avoid. Cheap ebay Chinese tat. Buy cheap pay twice. Just saying.
